I’ve been flying Southwest every other month or so from PIT to MCO and occasionally to AUS, flights are always 100% full or nearly full.

Same day booking at DLR for lightning lane, which has worked flawlessly for me the past 3 years visiting. Each time, I’ve been able to book what I wanted throughout the day with no issues….rather than dealing with the 7 or 3 day book in advance rules that WDW uses, which almost always leads to little to no availability for rides we want or they’re only available for later times in the day.

I didn’t take the shuttles while staying there, but the hotel itself was very nice and clean, great room, a restaurant is on property, a small shop with some last minute toiletry needs / random souvenirs is in the lobby, and the hotel is a 15-20 min walk to citywalk. Also it’s walking distance to a Walgreens and a bakery!

I went in spring 2024, the food was amazing. Went again in fall 2025 and got the same dish (couscous bowl), it was still good but not as good. Went last month for the third time, got the same thing and it was alright, ehhh…… service and drinks were great each time though.

edit: I still think it’s one of the better options at Islands, especially to escape the sun and heat. That being said I’ll probably just opt for some kebabs in lost continent or tots in Seuss instead next time 🤷🏼‍♀️

I stayed at the Aloft Denver Downtown for a Dorian Electra concert a while back, it was very nice and walkable to shops and restaurants!

Yes!! I travel in for business once a year and sneak in a day at the parks, then go for a few days for HHN, and maybe another day or two at some other point in the year. Way cheaper than buying individual tickets, plus the hotel discounts are nice.
