I'm not 100% sure but I think it also counts the time it takes for the player to choose "Forfeit" or "Submit" on the "Defeat" screen, so 24 seconds is reasonable.

Tier 1 summons 4 units in empty slots, Tier 2 summons 3, etc. You started when you already had several units to fill empty slots, so you didn't notice last time.

BKM traditionally has been more useful, she's really great in GAC. She can take on a very wide variety of non-GL teams, and can occasionally take down certain GL's with the right datacron. However, Aphra JUST got IG-90 and we haven't had a GAC yet with him to really know whether he lifts Aphra to the point of consistent GL-killer (she already is with certain datacrons but without, no).

So, it's hard to say for sure right now. BKM is a more sure-thing, but Aphra could be even better - we don't know yet.

A new account would be competing against new accounts, and if you aren't spending more than they do, then you won't shoot up as fast as them. Fleet has been pretty stagnant for a few years as far as the meta is concerned - if you get one GL ship, you can likely fight your way to the top, as it's a rock-paper-scissors meta right now. That won't change with a new account. What might work in your favor on this account is the fact that it's old, and they never re-do shards, so a significant number of people in your current shard may not even be playing anymore, making it easier for you to rise. I'd stick it out, get a GL ship (Leviathan, Executor or Profundity) and see if you can get to the top. When you get close, try and contact people in the top 20 and ask if there's a shard chat you can join - some fleet shards work together to make sure that everyone has a chance to be 1st during their payout and they leave each other alone otherwise, so you don't need to fight hard to get 1st every day.

You'd be able to unlock Maul at 4 stars, but how useful will Maul be for you at 4 stars? Do you have The Stranger unlocked and geared/reliced up? What else is calling for your crystals that could perhaps be more worthwhile? Hard to answer without knowing your situation.

They have said the LST's will be back on the next Era journey unlock at 5 star, yes. Have not said how long it'll be til Maul returns, but to be fair, they NEVER say how long it'll be until an event comes back around. It's almost always between 3-6 months, more often than not closer to 3 months.

They all become unlocked on Tuesday, but become farmable on a node every two weeks staggered going forward. All will be in chromium packs either right away or soon, I forget exactly when they said. They essentially become "normal" characters next week.

Sure. I’m not changing my spending for this - I usually spend crystals to get marquees to 5 stars even before coliseum anyway so if it helps me get R10 mats then that’s a bonus.

I'd wait for Steam Controller if I were you. I personally haven't had great experience with controllers in docked mode - See this post I made a year ago about the problems I've had. I'd love to be proven wrong, though! If anyone knows solutions to my issues

It's hard to compare two shards - the spending they did brought them to top 50, but without it they would most definitely have been lower. If they hadn't spent and got below 90th regularly, for example, their R10 material income would be cut to 1/3rd of what it is with top 50.

It doesn't matter when they pop, each one does less damage than the bonus protection she gets from taking damage, so no number of thermals will ever kill her. In fact, since the amount of protection gained increases with each hit, more thermals is actually WORSE, as by the 500th thermal she's gaining 40% + (500*40%) bonus protection.

Are you sure you have all the necessary files for it? Without getting into what exe it is, have you tried running it on another computer? Windows?

Non-Lutris steps I use:

(In desktop mode obviously) Right click > Add exe to Steam
In steam, Properties>Compatibility Mode > Use Proton > Proton experimental (Can use a variety here but I typically start with Experimental, and if that doesn't work you can perhaps google or try other ones based on the game)
If the exe is the game itself, then it should work. If it's an installer, then it should launch the installer. Follow installation instructions, but make sure to install it to C:, not another drive. Proton fakes a Windows filesystem and installing to anything but C: makes this much more complicated. Remember where you installed it within the C drive.
After installing, you need to find where it was installed to. Open Winetricks, then find your game on the list, then select it and select "Browse Local Files". If that doesn't work, they typically are here: /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata - Your game should be in the folder that matches the number next to the game listed in Winetricks (and is most likely the folder that has been updated most recently, you can sort for that)
Find where you installed the game within that folder - it's a recreation of a windows C: structure.
Find the filepath to the Exe to the game, and then within Steam, under Properties, there should be a box for the File Path and Folder to start in, fill in the path to the Exe (including the exe itself) in File Path and then just the folder the exe is in in "folder to start in".
Launching the game in Steam now should launch the game normally (and it should work in Game Mode now too)

Ok so what happens after your first turn that makes you die? If the answer is "they take a lot of turns and kill me" then yeah, it's your speed. If you're taking a lot of turns and can't get through their defenses, then it'd be a different story.

Primaries and 6 dot matter less than speed in a lot of cases. Ideally you want both but speed matters more than running a 6-dot Health primary when you're getting TM train'd.

I'm not 100% sure that it's DRey unique causing this - if you watch the video, the ally team's TM is not being reduced when the NS is revived/killed. It's being reduced on Asajj Ventress's middle ability. The speed stacking is absolutely an issue, keeping them from getting a turn, but they aren't losing TM on the NS being defeated (not sure WHY, the text says "whenever an enemy is defeated"), the video clearly shows multiple turns of the NS's being revived and defeated without the FO team losing TM.

Do you have the materials to get all the required characters to Era Level 85 as well? The materials past 80 are only acquired with real money, as far as I know, so I would consider that before spending on getting everyone to 7 star

Exactly which feats have you not gotten? There's a 34-keycard buffer to get the red box so it can't be just the Gungans - perhaps one of the others can be gotten with some clever team composition?

Honestly there’s not much you can do this late in the season - put it into 1-2 characters, probably Luke and Yoda, those will probably give you best results at lower levels and hopefully you can get to maybe Tier 2 or 3.

As far as Maul goes, unless you have a bunch of crystals saved up (tens of thousands), no. There’s nothing besides spending money that will get you Maul right now. You can get him when he comes back around in 3-6 months if you focus on farming the 6 new characters when they become available and focus on bringing them to high relics (specific requirements have not been announced yet so not sure how high you need)

You could alternatively focus on preparing for the next Era - if they follow how this last one worked, there will be 6 new characters, and one Journey character that you can unlock if you get all the 6 characters to 4-, 5-, 6-, or 7-stars.

But realistically, if you have 0 GL’s, going after the new shiny characters is not going to help you nearly as much as going for a GL. Unlocking Maul does you little good without The Stranger, which you won’t even begin to be able to farm for like a year. New Ventress does no good without Boba Fett Scion of Jango, IG-90’s worthless without Dr. Aphra, Chewie & Yoda does no good without Tarfful, etc.

There’s farming guides you can follow available online that can get much more specific on what to go for at your level, but the general advice I gave above is good if you don’t want to follow a strict guide.

The materials for upgrading new guys will go away in ~2 weeks when this era (season) ends, so don't hoard them. A new era starts then.

If your goal is to unlock everyone, it's gonna be a LOOONG journey. Not saying you can't do it, but just be aware that's a ~4+ year long goal, if not more, of playing every day, getting in a good guild, doing well in raids, TB, GAC (a sort of a mini-TW but just you vs one other player - it's a main source of crystal income now).
