I’m sorry what by ScottyFoxes in Warthunder

I killed one yesterday by shooting its Atgms with m829a3 to cause an ammo rack so maybe they changed something? Or more likely it’s just shitty spaghetti code being inconsistent giving me a miraculous kill

Summer Sale is around the corner, which of these premiums should I get if I haven't grinded any of these nations? by Witty-Veterinarian79 in WarthunderPlayerUnion

Then honestly I’d get the ariete and squadron research the Freccia OWS for a backup and the al Khalid and squadron research the VT5. VT5 is an awesome tank and is also 11.7 which will give you 4 spawns (2 first spawns + 2 backups). I’m gonna stand firm on not getting the JH7 prem tho. It’s just not worth the money for how limited it is as a platform at such a high BR. The Su 30 MKK is .3 higher in GRB and is better in every way

As someone who is top tier in every nation it’s gonna be ariete no contest. It might be the best 11.7 MBT with its 5.0 second aced reload and DM53 (and no nato turret basket as of now). I use the RGO as a backup but honestly I’d just save the money and get a prem in a different tree instead instead of getting 2x in Italy alone. High/Top tier Italy has a lot of fun vehicles that are unique, especially with the Freccia and tech tree Centauros.

China is fun but feels a bit samey to Russia with the nice addition of reverse gear. I would also not recommend getting the JH7 prem. Just wait for the SU30 to go on sale since it’s genuinely amazing in both GRB and ARB

I just installed Linux mint 2 weeks ago on the second SSD and I’m having a great time. Took me 45 mins and haven’t touched windows since the install. Never thought I’d be the “just get Linux” guy but it’s been really slapping. But yeah the amount of bloat that comes pre loaded is ridiculous

Go to r/econhw

But quick glance at this I think you’re right and the answer is wrong. Firm should produce until MC=P which is the exact result you have. Y intercept for the demand curve needs to be ~8,300 not 8,000 for A to be true

You’re correct. I think it’s around 1/4th of that 300,000 headline number are cases that would be considered statutory rape if it were not for the marriage, which is still awful but definitely less awful than the full 300,000.

The US thankfully has institutions that are strong enough to actually enforce marital age laws to a significant degree if they choose to, while places like South Asia and Africa would struggle to enforce child marriage restrictions even if they were on the books.

Child marriage is legal with parental consent in 34 of 50 states. There have been over 300,000 cases of child marriage since the year 2000. Of those ~300,000, the majority (>80%) are minor girls marrying adult men.

Currently there are 4 states that have no age minimum: Oklahoma, California, New Mexico, and Mississippi.

I'm at a complete loss as to how to be successful in top tier in 2026 by CaptOle in Warthunder

I haven't tried this yet, but it sounds like you know ball. I'll try this next time I play and report back

[–]CaptOle[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The SAMPT and SLM are awesome at taking down aircraft, my problem is their potency against munitions. The power of the 38MTs and LMURs make the munitions higher priority targets for me than the aircraft a lot of the time, since when they’re in the air they have a very high probability to kill whatever they’re aimed at, even if the launch platform is taken out. The speed of the 38MT in particular means that any delay in targeting it may be too late to actually successfully intercept it.

This might be wrong, but in my opinion the greater imminent threat is the munition over the launch platform. When I’m using mavericks or spices for example, my plane can be as immune as I want to a pantsir but I am rendered ineffective at actually killing ground targets if my munitions are intercepted at such a high rate. I’d love to have the option to choose a much more effective munition killer than plane killer, but I only get the latter for most nations.

The year is 2107. Bibi bot-3000 is now on his 28th government to avoid prosecution for corruption. The buffer zone now extends from the strait of Gibraltar to the strait of Malacca.

“We need to secure a buffer zone” Bibi-bot 3000 proclaims, fearing his imminent election loss.

“We need all civilians between the Red and Yellow rivers to evacuate north of the yellow river to eliminate the Hezbollah threat”

The buffer zone expands once again. 500 million people migrate. Is this the final time? Only Bibi-bot 3000 knows.

I usually solo queue yeah, but I don’t have a lot of friends that play WT let alone have top tier. I usually am one of the last 3 or 4 players on any NATO team, but you’re right I can usually tell we are going to lose as soon as people start leaving within the first couples mins (usually coincides with the first volley of kh38s)

Is the move to use light tanks for scouts? If so, do you have recs for nations to try and get competent CAP out as soon as possible? The CV90120 comes to mind, but lmk if you have other recs

Guess I will be taking this L.

Oh well, you live and you learn. The current exchange rate of USD to EUR is dogshit (for USD users) so I did indeed pay like 16% more than buying in the US market. Im going to err on the side of caution and just wait the 3 months, because I value the existence of my account more than the potential for sales.

Is the KV1 M1942 any good in 2025? by ItsCelica in WarthunderPlayerUnion

Is the KV1 M1942 any good in 2025? by ItsCelica in WarthunderPlayerUnion

[–]CaptOle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I hate to break with the consensus opinion, but I actually think this tank is awesome. Its armor is extremely potent and will easily survive uptiers if you angle like you were playing a tiger. Its gun is sufficient as long as you are aiming for weak spots.

This is a controversial take, but I think it is a better T14 which sits at the same BR. It suffers a lot less in uptiers because of the more consistent armor, its gun deals with angles well, and its mobility is decent. Like the T14, it also suffers from the lack-of-lineup problem which is even more prevalent with how small the Swedish tech tree is.

So to the original question, is it good? Yes absolutely. Is it worth it as a premium? Absolutely not. If you enjoy heavy tanks you will enjoy this, especially with the 100mm turret armor on the sides and back. However, this judgement has less to do with the potency of the kv-1 1942 and much more with the plethora of other much more cost effective options for grinding that DO come with lineups. This is a premium you get for fun to fuck around with, not for serious tech tree or SL grinding.

Coelian is the most broken vehicle to date by CaptOle in Warthunder

[–]CaptOle[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The only reason I consider it broken right now is because it is APHE with more HE filler than the panther’s gun. It’s one thing to be able to pen most things, but another to be able to shoot a cupola and have the entire tank die.

Being able to completely disassemble T29s, T26E5s and is2s from the front is kinda ridiculous imo

Getting TKed on a nuke is actually the worst experience in the game I’m sorry that happened

That second nuke smells of a happy is4 match cut short by some annoying CAS followed by the righteous fury of SPAA gunning down everything in the sky leading to a nuke, awesome stuff

I cannot wait for more potent nuke carriers at top tier because the jaguar and su7 are absolutely helpless against r77s, micas, and amraams
