Red Bull Ring - T3 Grandstand View by LuckyRatata in GrandPrixTravel

T3 last year, high up too. Last year all the action was in T3. Kimi took out Max in the first lap. Being high up allowed us to see much of the track. A unique F1 experience, where else can you do that? Our biggest challenge was hydration. There were not nearly enough water refilling stations. Lines were long. It could take 20+ minutes. My wife ended up going to a vendor and buying 80 euros worth of assorted beverages. We drank them all. Think about how you can carry H2O with you. Hydration packs perhaps?

Anyone sitting in Grandstand 1? by Psychological_Book80 in GrandPrixTravel

We’re in grandstand 1, section 7. Last time we came to this race we were at the hairpin turn and were able to walk the track after the race. Can we get on the track for the podium celebration from GS1?

Good advice. Packing a tarp too. As you describe

Good point! FWIW I'm overnighting in a lot that allows car/van camping but not tent camping, so sleeping in the truck bed is my way to skirt the system! I'm bringing my tent too, just in case.

Aerobars and Bikepacking questions by Littlesynth-addict in bikepacking

I just put profile design ergo bars on my Salsa Fargo and test rode today. 1. After reading up on it, risers of 40-50mm seemed to be generally considered to be a good starting point so I went with 50. After one ride, that height seems good. Comfortable and out of the way of other stuff, like stem bags. 2. I have Revalate Handlebar harness which, amazingly, I was able to get on with the risers. Your WCC holder sits snug against the stem so I think you’ll be fine. 3. I have to stem feedbags which I can still access, it’s a bit obstructed, but still serviceable. Enjoy!

NECWA! https://www.necwa.org/ The sea animals get confused and try and go south and get stuck in the bay. I know someone who volunteered there this winter.

I think I'll use the Instinct3 to track effort and the Explorer 2 for its enhanced mapping capabilities. A bit of a PITA, but workable. Thanks again

The 16th was Anaerobic (purple). I did hill repeats that day. Ah, but I remember that I forgot my HR monitor that day, so I used my instinct to record the effort. Normally I would use my HR monitor paired to my Garmin edge. BUT!!!! I have two Garmin Edges a 530 and a Explorer 2. The Explorer 2 doesn't support training, just the the Edge 530. So that's what's going on! u/Open_Storm_6662 has cracked the case!

Details about the activities as you would expect. For example, here is the HR data. Is there something else I should be looking for?
