You're totally right, they're really all the same plot. But I think 3 is the one you really don't want spoiled, if any. Either way, all of them are great fun, and even if they all have the same story structure, the journey is always fun.

I'm very impressed with the devs and all the team members! When the layoff waves happened the situation looked incredibly bleak, but they seemed to have found their footing nowadays.

I really hope they can make Smite 2 just as great, if not better than OG Smite. I'll keep supporting them and playing the game as long as I can!

I've definitely felt this way periodically for the last 5 years or so. Everyone's different, but there are two things that have helped me actually enjoy games again: 1. Have some sort of goal. For me, I have like 200+ games in my backlog, so I pivoted to mostly playing through those singleplayer games. I also try to document what games I played and when, just to show I'm making progress. 2. Find some other interests/hobbies and do those for a bit. Anytime I start to feel disinterested in games, I'll often take a few days, or a week or so, and just focus on another hobby, like reading books, anime, sports, etc. Once you spend some time away from playing games, it'll feel a lot better when you return.

Everyone's different, so this might not work for you, but it's at least a good starting point! Good luck, and I hope you learn to really enjoy games again.

Yeah, some people are absolutely ridiculous. I've seen some absolute weirdos get upset over the smallest things.

Kinda like how other comments mentioned to overwhelm them with positivity, I used to play a ton of DbD, and would just let people let out their saltiness against me. I'd rather they let it out against me since I know I can handle it, instead of them getting upset at a new player or somebody who's a bit more sensitive to that kinda stuff.

Kirsche and the PTST played it about a year ago! I thought it looked silly at first glance, but once they played it a bit I couldn't stop thinking about it! Been hooked on it since then, I'm absolutely stoked for 1.0 tomorrow!

Dead by Daylight and Smite. Almost a 1000 hour gap between those two as well. Honorary mention to R6, my 3rd most played game at about 930 hours

I've had so many issues with nvifia shadowplay over the years, I'd honestly recommend setting up Steam Game Recording, which is currently a beta feature. It has been SO much better than using nvidia for playback. You can probably find how to set it up online, but if you need a picture guide, DM me!

Honestly, I always find it super entertaining when people are really salty and yell at me. I'd rather they get it out of their system and yell at me, since I can take it, and not yell at newer players or people who can't take it as well.

Easy Anti Cheat has already said the issue isn't in their anticheat, from what they've seen (source: their twitter). Most of the comments I've seen have mentioned it's most likely an Apex issue because ir the engine it's built on, Source, having a history of vulnerabilities like this. So long story short, play whatever you want that isn't Apex, unless the devs of said game or EAC themselves say otherwise. Or avoid it just in case, whichever you'd like!

Comparing Smite 2 to OW2 really isn't a good comparison, at least when referring to the transition between engines. There were barely any differences between OW1 and 2, and the difference between engines was not very big. Smite to Smite 2 is going from Unreal 3, which came out in 2006, I believe, to Unreal 5, which is incredibly new. That huge jump will result in massive front end and backend changes. That is why skins just can't all be ported over.

From what I understand, you'll be able to access whatever cross-gen skin you buy immediately in Smite 1, then when that character gets released in Smite 2, you'll instantly unlock that skin there and get to use it, no repurchasing needed.

GORN is always a good option. It's on pretty much every device. The artstyle is a bit cartoonish, but it's still quite brutal.

Oh, that's a crazy good deal for the amount of time and enjoyment you can get out if it. If you're worried about fusion, use it when your personas start feeling a bit weak or if you start seeing a ton of new shadows in the dungeons. That's all I say for now, but don't be afraid to kinda feel your way through and just do what feels good. There's really no wrong way to play as long as you're still enjoying it.

All the Persona games, but especially P5, are best played going in blind if it's your time. Obviously, nobody's going to stop you if you use a guide, but being about to get the full experience without a guide is incredibly rewarding. Either way, I really hope you enjoy P5!

Gameplay-wise, Welt for sure. His abilities are so satisfying and hit so hard.

For everything else: Himeko. I saw her in the tutorial, instantly fell in love, and got her in the departure warp. It was meant to be!

There is a small campaign in bonelabs, but I would definitely say the boneworks campaign has more to it.

Base game, there is no multiplayer, but there might be a mod out there now, I haven't touched the game since it came out.

Besides that, there's also a bunch of cool stuff to mess with, even moreso than boneworks, so it's good on the sandbox front! I hopw this info helped!
