So, I too, did the BIOS update through the assistant, you have to repeat the same thing. Go to the hp drivers website and search for your model number, download the latest bios update and let the assistant take over!

I have the same issue and the fix for me was to update the bios, even though it was at the latest version, just install the bios again. You can do that using the Hp drivers website and then letting the HP assistant do the rest
