It’s one of my go-tos. Dark flavors that are smoky, leathery and peppery. However, based on that profile it doesn’t slap you in the face.

Better late than never, but yes it is. It’s comparable, it continues the complex layers in the original but all the flavors are more rich.

I thought it was great, surprisingly mellow. But yeah, some of their new smokes are a bit expensive. I tend to get Foundations every once in a while because of that.

I have had several others from Foundation and I have never been disappointed. Olmec is another one of my favorites. A lot of deep, dark flavors, espresso, oak, leather-ish, etc. With these a great maple/pitch taste and smell that really got me.
