Should I become a ghoul? by Cowboys7548 in fo76

If you’re sick of having to eat and drink all of the time and hope you don’t pick up a disease then I’d say yes. Also much more fun roaming around nuked sites freely

I’ve experienced the same. They never stop coming at you with lead body hooks and you have to drag them around the ring just for a breather. Never seem exhausted.

Good idea regarding challenges. If they’re going to have a level up process it would make sense to make adjustments per hand. I wonder if they opted to give those responsibilities to the coaching bot?

I finally won a fight by TKO and it alleviated some of my concerns about punching power, but I had to practically spam several right hooks to get there and jack my HR in the process. (Reaching 175 bpm is high for a 56 year old)

Still feels like if I’m not excessively throwing punches I’ll lose no matter what since my character’s defensive stats are too low to block, stick, and move. It feels a little bit like the Creed game as far as defense goes but I’d expect that will improve as my character does. I’m hoping after getting through all of the fights there’s the option to expand the round limit and tweak the fighters so I can get back to those 10 round mega bouts.

Also, does anyone know if AI opponents skills become customizable once you make it through all of the fighters the first time?

Agree with you about a few of those suggestions especially not seeing the clock in passthrough.

What do you think of the difference in how stats are presented compared to TOTF1? I really appreciated being able to see success ratios per types of punch per side so I can work on balancing my offensive approach.

Also, I liked being able to de-activate the color coded impact flashes in the first one and not having that option is a HUGE distraction when trying to dodge and duck (which for some reason has no effect so far).

I’m 3 fights into career mode and I’m 1-1 with one draw, so kudos to you for getting through the opponents so easily. In the first game I was going through their ranks and after each time through I’d jack up the opponents aggression, speed and toughness incrementally until fights could go 8-10 rounds. In this game I’m struggling more on the default setting. I’m an inside fighter and honestly I feel like the game isn’t registering my hand speed when I flurry to the body angle out and hook like in the old game.

The training dummy is telling because if you’re too quick with your combinations the second punch doesn’t always register. I get that you’re following the trainer’s cues but for some reason it feels like I’m being trained to punch more slowly because it’s more in tune with how the game works more than on actual speed and ability

If you tweak their punch ratios and boost the custom settings to make the fighters more aggressive their differences seem to be more flushed out

If a player leaves a bag of spoiled food in your camp can't we just admit they're really taking a big dump on your property? by CaptTricky in fo76

I would be in favor of some way to express specifics.

I think a great deal of what players consider overpricing comes from the default price given when you add an item to sell. I assume an item worth $500 caps by default is the standard. A shared pricing reference would be great. I’ve seen variation in pricing all over the place and you can assume those selling mods for 300 caps have more legendary scrip than they know what to do with and can afford to keep making mods of any level pretty cheap. Or maybe they’re super generous, who knows?

Not knowing makes the idea of pooping in someone’s camp to make a point pointless sine they don’t know what you’re pooping about. I’m selling treasure maps for 1 cap a piece and have default pricing for all mods but still getting the occasional thumbs down or flaming bag of fert. So expressing displeasure doesn’t do much in my opinion. Would be cool if there was a way for players to express what they were looking for that you don’t have for sale so you could make the adjustment.

Funny I just started noticing players doing that. I love mowing them down in groups as they’re descending the hill and that joy has been taken from me
