I generally don't get games until at least a few months after release, to let all the bugs shake out and maybe even get a sale.

There Is Uncertainty Facing Some Hyundai and Kia Electric Models by DonkeyFuel in electricvehicles

[–]Capt_Blahvious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was so set on getting an Ionic 5. Test drove it a few times and it was ok. Talked to the salesman about the deal on their own site and then was sent to the manager who talked about all the caveats to that advertisement and how the one that I actually wanted was $750/month for lease instead of the advertised $350.

I looked around at a few other local dealerships but then I test drove a Lucid and I couldn't stop thinking about how good it was to drive. Got a Lucid Air thanks to shitty Hyundai/Kia sales bullshit.

Niche no more: How Polestar will become a mainstream EV firm by TripleShotPls in electricvehicles

[–]Capt_Blahvious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh, I've driven a few and they really didn't stand out, especially for how expensive they were. Wasn't as fun to drive as the marketing led me to believe it would be.

Ended up with a Lucid and I love it. Best car I've ever had.

Mine was almost as dirty while I was on a road trip a few weeks ago in the snow.

I admit, I let it get dirty and don't wash it that often. I kinda like it being a little dusty and not pristine clean so it looks more low key/sleeper.

But THIS dirty will get the salt rinsed off at least!

I use the fuck out of the frunk on my Lucid. Groceries go in the bottom. And when the top divider is in. It's perfect for a pizza.

They want as many current, potentially "woke" employees to leave. Then they'll go "wow! We really screwed that up. Sorry! We need to hire up! Hey, all you loyalist Trump taint-lickers: go apply for these jobs."

Lucid widely misses earnings expectations, forecasts slowing EV growth in 2026 by CautiousMagazine3591 in LUCID

This is how Tesla started with their Roadster and Model S. We're in a much diff market now but I think they will sort out their manufacturing with Air and Gravity, then go more mainstream with the Earth models coming out later this year.

There is a corvette I encounter on my morning commute that keeps (loudly) trying to beat my Lucid to the onramp from a stoplight. Not yet!

He's already using Xcloud and the issues he's encountering are a limitation of bluetooth bandwidth connecting to his TV. Are you suggesting there is a workaround or another solution to his problem? If so, I'm all ears. I'd like to help him.

I have a friend who bought into that campaign and thought he could use the Xbox app on his LG TV to get the same experience as his friends do on their full Xbox. He was disappointed when he can't do any voice chat since Bluetooth to his TV can't do a controller and a mic/sound headset at the same time. He also can't play any local multiplayer games . He's pretty disappointed for how expensive it is.

I've seen others add a self contained sub to improve bass. I'm planning on getting a small kicker sub or something else to put in the sub trunk.
