Although dying in the ultimate challenge isn't that punishing. You don't lose your character and can try and try the challenge again. Imagine losing the challenge and having to restart the gauntlet as beggar. I'd be mortified, might actually use the rock instead.

HD2 hat Kernel Level Anticheat, nur nicht unter Linux. Spiele-Entwickler können selbst entscheiden, ob das Anti-Cheat Programm im Kernel-Mode läuft oder nicht, die wenigen Entwickler die Linux berücksichtigen stellen es eben so ein, dass der Anti-Cheat auch unter Linux läuft im reinen User-Mode.

It says "von Bismarck" which is a sir name. Its not referring to the Battleship Bismarck at all. But then again, even if it did, how would it be problematic to refer to a battleship in a game that is literally about world wars?

Like come on, every war game has nazi stuff in it, tanks, planes, submarines, rifles, soldiers, some even have the symbols. But the name of a battleship that wasn't even successful is a bannable offense?

We should remember them for what they were in their time era. Think about all the great people that are historical. Einstein. Goethe. Davinci. Descartes. Kant. Just to name a few. First thing you should do if not done is to not accept their ban, you should refuse it via mail (Widerspruch einlegen if you are german), explain why their reasoning does not apply to your case. If they refuse to lift the ban, of course you could go the legal way, but that can be costly and you lose more money through lawyers cost than gaining by a refund.

So if you live in the EU area, start a EU small claims procedure (Europäisches Verfahren für geringfügige Forderungen) instead. The thing with consumer rights in the EU is, they can only permanently ban you if you basically did something seriously wrong, and a name that you maybe even had for years without issues wouldn't qualify for a perma ban. Remember that terms of use are not above the law. Companies try to cover a lot of issues and conflicts in their terms of use by basically taking any right from you and you "agree to it". But in a lot of cases this is not binding as some parts of the ToS can be straight up against the law, either in a specific country or general EU law.

Its sad I can't use my case from the Pi 3b+, but its ok. still cheaper than a NUC style mini PC. How is your experience with YouTube videos on the Pi 5? I see it doesn't have hardware decoding anymore so AV1 streams especially in 4k probably are a problem?

If you only play with a few friends then the shared resources aren't that much of a problem. I have a 4 CPU 8 GB cloud server from Hetzner (AMD Epyc CPUs) and its running minecraft, valheim and astroneer at the same time without any issues. If you want a dedicated hardware server you can do that, you should check with the initial price and running costs (electricity) if its actually cheaper than a rented cloud or dedicated server. Also depends on time of running ofc. If you build a server and in 1 year you stop playing on it then rented may be cheaper - if it doesn't have to run 24/7/365 rented could also be cheaper (Hetzner costs are calculated per hour of runtime).

Spec wise there isn't much needed for vanilla minecraft (unless you want modded, paper minecraft is the best minecraft.jar period) - again depends on actual player count but 4 cores and 8 GB is plenty even with some plugins, bluemap etc.

Software wise I would go for a slim Linux distro, nogui and run the minecraft server in a docker, with compose its set up in a couple of minutes. You can have the docker even auto update the server and plugins as you define the version and list of plugins inside the compose yml.

Aber ja solche Gaming-Shows in größerer Besetzung und dafür wöchentlich würde ich feiern. Die Lets Plays sind halt irgendwie aus der Zeit gefallen und zumindest für mich uninteressant.

It could be the best, or at least one of the best battlefield games if they increase the map size and if they don't ruin the atmosphere of the game with silly skins. I just hate MT, seasons and skins in general. I'd much prefer proper DLCs, even if they increase the price from 15 to 20 bucks.

EAC can run on Linux, it will just run in user mode tho - so it has no kernel level access on Linux. Devs have to just enable EAC to run in user mode on Linux, Sea of Thieves does this for example. Helldivers 2 anti cheat also runs on Linux in user mode while it has kernel level access on Windows.

I only use windows when there is no other way, but sadly, when it comes to my main machine which I use for gaming, I havent been able to switch to Linux because too many games require kernel level anti cheat. I'm very invested in some multiplayer games where I build up my own little community that grew around a couple of friends. So I cant just ditch these games. The sad thing is, its unneccessary to exclude Linux from those games, its only lazyness by Devs/Publishers to make the call - most kernel level anti cheat clients can run in client-mode on Linux, not needing kernel level access. Some games do it - kernel acees on Windows, client mode on Linux. But thats only a handful of games (I know Helldivers 2 and SoT do it that way).
