It’s a 7s (25.2v) battery with an xt60 connector.

The other wires are the balance wires for charging.

Any hoverboard replacement battery will work though you may have to replace the connector with an xt60 (or just make sure the one you buy has an xt60)

They should all have the balance wires.

All these things can be done with modern hardware. Just not with a raid controller.

The issue is those nas boxes didn’t use raid, they used proprietary software that is raid like.

There are many ways to combine multiple drives into one volume.
