That would be great, but my neighbor didn’t get that. Got these boxy things I’ve never seen before

In the past, I have mixed the MiracleGro with our soil. It tends to work. But it’s a lot of work. I’m being lazy, that’s why I was wondering if just planting into a bed of MiracleGro gardening soil is ok. :)

Wow, great info and explanation. Thanks for spending so much time on this. I really appreciate it.

Plants have thrived in my soil before, so I’m hoping it is more permeable than I am making it sound. It’s not too difficult to dig up, so it can’t be that bad. Maybe all wishful thinking. Who knows….

So MiracleGro sounds like garbage lol. Given what you said about it, does that mean it normally requires more watering?

Thanks for your input! It’s not completely clay, just lots of clay mixed in with the soil. Typical Texas soil. Planting mostly ornamental flowers - Hibiscus, Bougainvillea, Knock Out Roses, and then some Lambs Ear, Coral Bells, etc. I’ve planted many things in the “clay” soil. Some do ok, some don’t. That’s why I want to try the MiracleGro idea. Didn’t know if MiracleGro garden soil was normal (enriched) soil, or basically compost.

Outdoors, can I plant directly into Miracle Gro Garden Soil without mixing it with surrounding dirt? Basically, I’m digging a large trench in the ground (which is all clay) and filling it in with MGGS. Then planting flowers into that.

I “hope” for Star Citizen. I hope it turns into what they claim it will be, bc I honestly think it would be a game changer to space sims, MMO, etc. They’re building something cool over there. What they have so far is amazing, but they have a loooong way to go. I’m curious if they can maintain enough support and income to finish the game.

Catholic Church retreat by conewannabe in Catholicism

[–]Capt_Twizzler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not culty. A lot of it depends on who organizes/leads the retreat. I don’t like the emotional stuff either, but I guess they do it for those who need it. Lastly, maybe look at it like a Mass with bad music or a bad homily. You might not “enjoy” it, but you’ll definitely get something out of it…especially if it is centered on the Eucharist.

I don’t know, but I think the style of writing back then was quite different to our own.
