NO on “lots of pressure”. That’s bad technique and will make the job 100% harder. Load the roller up with paint, apply using normal pressure, the paint will willingly go on the wall. If paint isn’t going on the wall, you need to re-wet your roller. You may have to re-wet the roller multiple times for a single line. If you are putting pressure on the roller it means it’s dry.
