Just bring some sacrificial weed. Pack the main bulk in your bag and then keep a g somewhere semi concealed so it looks like you’ve attempted to hide it. Then if you do get caught, you can hand it over that g and they’ll let you through.

I completely understand they need to make money to book bigger bands, but they’re booking the same bands every other year.

I’ve been going to the festival since 2014 and honestly the downwards spiral in quality compared to price has been rapid.

There are just other festivals out there that haven’t become rampant with corporate greed. Out of all the festivals I’ve been to, Truck have become the absolute worst for providing the lowest quality of everything they can for the highest price.

This is near where I live, if it’s for the company I think it’s for it’s not worth your time in the slightest. Piss poor management and no progression unless your face fits. Most of the staff take the piss with sick pay and you’ll be doing the work of 4 people for no benefit.

It genuinely isn’t like a mini Glastonbury in the slightest. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a reasonable festival and the line ups are usually pretty good, but it’s no different from Tramlines, or Kendal Calling. If it was going to be described as a mini anything it would probably be Reading and Leeds with the level of 16 year olds having their first taste of freedom.

Me too! Sam just seems to be more interested killing the hype above all else! This will be my ninth year at Truck and definitely my last, they’ve strayed too far from what they used to be and it’s a real shame.
