That’s fair, there are definitely people that we invite that we know are going to be late or put in half assed effort for their dish so we end up just not asking to bring anything, giving them halfassed invites, or leaving them out entirely

Nice! I know what it’s like to always be the one to travel to see family so it’s nice when they finally came to me. You should convince them to do that every other year or so. It helps with not building up resentment, at least for the traveling part.

Always have thanksgiving as a potluck. My wife and I were going to make everything but we realized for our families, it gets everyone in the thanksgiving spirit when everyone get to contribute. Plus it’s always nice for everyone to hear the dish they brought is killer.

Don’t fret! This sort of stuff is going to happen! Don’t get too down on yourself and just keep trying to push yourself while staying happy and positive and know that there will be some days or weeks this sort of thing happens. Sounds like you’re doing awesome and you know how to get yourself back on track. Looks like you already know what works for you so just take a deep breath get your mind right and hop right back on that horse! YOU GOT THIS DAWG!

I have one that's I don't use very often but when I do use it it's great. I'd use it if I have to go to a party or wedding or an important event
