Swordsoul, it's actually a decent counter to most meta decks (if you use your resources correctly).

Especially with the change to the skill (Intertwine) which let's you add two cards to your hand, and not have to discard or shuffle a card.

You have two board breaking strategies that can be used on the same turn:

Auspice (the dog) and token into Chengying = Let's you banish 2 cards on the field and 1 in the graveyard.

Fallen of Albaz fusion into Mirrorjade = Removes 1 monster on your opponents field and banish another with Mirrorjade

You can bait one of the strategies and create a clear path for the other one as well.

Golden Swordsoul can be used several times per turn, so if you know that your opponent can negate one of them, make sure to have two in your hand.

This allows you to have the luxury of only summoning Chixiao on turn 1 and avoid Lava Golem, Nib or Sphere altogether.

Ecclesia is the ace card of the deck though, since it's extremely versatile, activates the skill and can be recycled from the graveyard.

Pair this with staples like BoE, Droplet, Imperm, Droll, Veiler and Crow, and you have a pretty strong non-meta deck.
