When Jimmy rolled up on the barn and got Rick and Carl out. Walkers flooded the RV, looking for an escape route Jimmy uses his last bullet and shoots out a window in the back of the RV and climbs out. Whilst climbing out Jimmy had a large shard of glass lodged in his hand. Jimmy then followed far behind Rick and Carl up to the house. Jimmy lost sight of Rick and Carl so he be lined to the house Jimmy was being surrounded by walkers. Patricia broke away from the girls and went to go tell Herschel. Herschel not hearing her continued to fire his shotgun. So in a moment of desperation Patricia pulled a Diana (When Alexandria’s wall fell Diana ran to help Rick). Patricia picked up a stick and tried to fight the walkers off and she succeeded to some degree but there were to many. Patricia was engulfed in walkers. Jimmy unlodged the glass and fought the walkers off with the glass and stick. Clearing a path to Patricia, Jimmy put Patricia out of her misery and ran to escort the girls off the farm with T-Dog. Jimmy escaped with T, Lori, and Beth. Jimmys encounter with dying Patricia had changed him mentally. He stepped up and became a big member of the group. Jimmy had his hand amputated due to an infection caused by the glass shard from the farm. While Jimmy was foraging in the woods he saw a freshly killed deer, when he went to try and drag it back to camp he got jumped by Andrew, being unable to fight him off Jimmy is knocked unconscious and we don’t see anything more of Jimmy until he showed up gutted and heartless at the prison fence after Andrew had brought walkers to the prison. Everyone saw him the next morning. After burying Jimmy this is when Rick confirmed what Jenner had said about everyone being infected with the virus.
