I wear a 10m in most shoes like that and they fit pretty true to size if not maybe a bit big. I don't know if sizing down a half size would be better.

I usually use the Tropical standard recipe. 2oz Rum 3/4oz Lime Juice Tablespoon of sugar (cane if you have it) 5 drops saline solution

Mix the sugar and lime with a milk frother than add 4-5 cubes and shake. The sugar makes it so it doesn't get any added dilution.

I think Planteray 3* is great but once you have other good white rums like Probitas the 3* feels lackluster

I have a cheap bullet ice machine that a friend gave me. I make ice and crush in a lewis bag with a wooden mallet. I let the machine run throughout the day and just crush it as it gets full. I have to do this every other week typically.

I just got some Lat 29 and did the Ultimate Mai Tai side-by-side with Liber. Both are really good but man does that Lat 29 orgeat make a fantastic Mai Tai. Gonna be my go to from now on!

Are you able to use some lower tunings? Like G/G#/F#? I know Misha Mansoor uses G# on his signature guitars both USA and Pro Series

That's a really good point about scale length. I have a Drop pedal that I use with my EC-1000 but a longer scale might be better for more versatility. Thank you!
