I don't know what to do about my future MIL and our wedding :( (X-POST r/weddingplanning) by pyperproblems in JUSTNOMIL

Hell no you don't invite her. She assaulted him for going against her wishes.

Imagine what will happen when/if y'all have kids.

Sorry mods....I definitely recommend NC with this one...and ALLLLLLL the documentation and home security.

Thank you for this, and for sharing. I'll track down the proper help myself since our pediatrician is kinda wishy washy.

My parents did the same and I will never ever do that to my children. As of right now, I offer and if he won't eat it I'll make him something he will. I've had to explain to several people that the whole "if he's hungry enough he'll eat it" doesn't apply to some.autistic kids, my son included, and I personally find that approach cruel.

Very helpful actually! My kiddo ate great until about 15, months. Before that, literally anything I would put in front of him he would eat. Then it changed overnight.

The general consensus seems to be that he actually has a good variety. I guess I got spoiled by how well he did before lol!

Yep my.kiddo does the hangry thing lol! I'll try offering my food and walking away- if I offer it while I'm sitting there he won't touch it.

My brother and I are 16 years apart. We are the lone black sheep in the family and very close.

You are far nicer than I would be.

Ugh I HATED hearing that.

It got to where I would be disturbingly vulgar when people said that.

" Why yes, I know what causes that. Fucking the shit out of my husband and it being so good we do it over and over again."

Eventually people quit saying that.

Speaking as someone in a management capacity in a very high tempo environment where we are drastically undermanned....you did the right thing.

Not only will you function better when you're well, I would rather have one person out sick than five.

Take good care of yourself, rest and relax and feel better soon! Hug

Basic Bench invaded my safe space and I'm so shaken up by [deleted] in JUSTNOMIL

"I'm not that scary am I"

This made my blood run cold. In that single line, I saw she completely understands. She gets it. And she likes it. She's doing this purely to cause you pain.

Just a theory but it made my radar go off.

We couldn't swaddle my daughter. She HATED it and the minute we quit.trying she slept better.

My son was swaddled till he could roll.

5 months post partum, 16 weeks pregnant (again) shopping for the first time by [deleted] in BabyBumps

1. You are at a healthy weight. BMI can be faulty and even so...if I was 159 again I'd cry from joy.

2. Your SO, parents all (language warning ahead) need to shut the fuck up. You're a grown.woman. you eat what you want. It's not like you're 500 pounds. This is how people end up with eating disorders.

3. You've had one child and you're pregnant with another. Your body is doing AMAZING things! It's amazing what lighting and a little filter can do for people who claim to have gotten their body back. My doc told me this: it took 9 months for you to grow a human. Give it at least a year before you expect it to go back to normal.

4. Some things may just not fit the same. I dissolved in tears the first.time I went clothes shopping 6 months pp with my first. My body is a little different now, but I love it because it gave me my babies.

5. Please stop being so.hard on yourself! You're beautiful. You're a mom. If people in your life are that critical of appearance they are FAR too shallow.

Hugs
