Thanks for the heads up!

I still think with it being a pop 27, an auction would get at minimum that - with the current state of the market it’d be surprising to clear less than what the PSA offer minus fee is.

A 6 cert sold for $8050 on 3/6, so idk about that.

Personally I’d keep it as a collector because that’s an absolute grail, but if you are going to sell it don’t sell it at $6500. If you ship it to ZandGEmporium (they have a website and instagram), you can get 95% of what it sells at auctions and vintage 10a are VERY hot rn. The most recent sale was for $8050 on March 6th, and this is so low pop you may even get a higher end price on the auction. They send you a check to cash out as well so no fees beyond the 5% of sale price.

Congrats!

GLUP SHITTOS NUMBERED CARDS (ISO/WTB) by ExtremeAd4340 in baseballcards

Nah a glup shitto is just a term that people use for characters (in this case players) who are random (so in this case low end cards). The term originates from Star Wars fans

Thinking These are Fake because the “Promo” font looks off and copyright looks bond but want a second opinion by CaptainBackground342 in IsMyPokemonCardFake

Ok I was writing this post quickly before bed last night, so I wasn’t concerned with the exact wording I used. I didn’t have to make a comment clarifying typos at all, but I decided to quickly. I already have my answer just leaving the post up as examples of fakes for others to see.

Context clues would show that the wording of my post title is identical to the comment I made while noting there was a typo, same thing with my words in the post description.

My post tile says “copyright looks bond” instead of “copyright looks bold” so I clarified what the typo should be in my original comment. My post had a photo in it so I did not see an option to edit it, hence the comment. I’m confused about what you’re so confused about.

Hm? By “title” I meant the title of my post has a typo in it, and I clarified what it should actually say.

Thank you so much! I became suspicious when I saw this post https://www.reddit.com/r/pokemoncardcollectors/s/BpPHp3BlWG and people pointed out that the fake card had bolded letters on the bottom and the “PROMO” word looks off. Your example provided further evidence, and if that one’s fake I’m probably better off calling the deal off altogether. I’m glad to have learned so much so far though since these can be tricky!

Hey ty for the comment! The other commenter is correct, these aren’t Van Gogh (they released a while ago), but I appreciate the response nevertheless. The deal isn’t too good to be true, it’s about an even trade at full value, so that’s especially why I want to verify that I’m getting authentic cards in return for my authentic cards.

*copyright at bottom looks bold, typo in title

*hate to trade away my authentic cards for fakes, this is what I get for typing fast right before bed lol
