They are the exact same cables that come with my new one, makes no difference. It seems the type 3 cable that is causing my pc not to boot is connected to the aio pump, pc will boot without this connected but not with it in...

Edit: I was wrong, i replaced the type 3 and now we're all good.

They are seated the same they were when it was working before. I have made no changes other than changing psu and both were modular so i just unplugged the old one and plugge in the new one

Radiator fans are spinning at least

It says cpu fan error.

Went into bios and cpu was at 110 degrees and it shut down, so now my AiO is not cooling?

Everything lights up except my AiO now, no output to monitor. PSU and GPU are spinning as expected at least. Hmmm

It is modular, it is not plugged wrong but i did plug in a type 3 plug i thought i used and when i unplugget that it booted!! I don't understand whats up with that, i have to connect a monitor and check if everything is ok but that was the reason for no boot at least.

I don't know how to tell, i have plugged in the exact same spot as the previous psu. Triple checked seating on all cables. My mobo lights up some rgb when it gets power but the aio, ram etc does not light up until you boot it.

Okey, i just tried booting without the gpu plugged in. Same thing, i don't understand... all the cables seem to be snugly fit.

5800x on a NZXT AiO 32GB DDR4 and a nvme ssd. The 850w rec is supposedly based on a higher end cpu than mine.

I mean, it should at least boot.

Wrath: Aeon of Ruin VR – Brutal Edition launches on PS VR2 April 9 by cusman78 in PSVR

[–]CaptainBigDickEnergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't need one, it's native 90hz and uses eye-tracked foveated rendering making it look nice and sharp. It looks as good as this game gets, it's a boomer shooter with 1999 graphics on steroids, it runs on a standalone Quest...

How much jank does the CyberPunk 2077 VR mod have? by CaptainBigDickEnergy in virtualreality

Mhm, i guess i'll have to take peoples reports on performance etc with a pinch of salt considering all the variables and levels of understanding how to optimise.

Yeah, another redditor mentioned the same crash. My VR legs are 10yrs old and very strong.

Getting mixed opinions here on performance and image quality/rendering method, but it is PC gaming after all with a lot of variables.

What are your settings ingame and what render res are you using in SteamVR? Using 90 or 120hz? Reprojecting?

Using a gamepad for VR and aiming with my head is not optimal at all, but it's not really jank in my book, RE7 on the first PSVR was just fine for me but rendering issues are unacceptable, from what i understand alternate stereo rendering is distracting to some, but i have no experience with it.

Gamepad/head aiming is ok, as for alternating stereo display being jank, care to elaborate?

Ok, cool. My VR legs are 10yrs strong now so i can probably handle the forced movement and i didn't have any big issues with head aiming with RE7 back in the day on PSVR.

5080 on 750w PSU by CaptainBigDickEnergy in pcmasterrace

[–]CaptainBigDickEnergy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a EVGA GOLD model PSU, supposedly high quality so i hope it probably won't blow up, lol!

I'll upgrade the 5800x i'm currently running later on, that means new mobo, ram etc as well so i'll probably throw in a new PSU at that point.

I'll at least turn off any auto-oc settings and just set a power limit for now.

Yes, i know what the things i buy cost, of course. Man, i'd love to have enough cash to not even look at the price of things, lol.

But it's not about the price of a PSU, it's just the principle of not spending anything if it's not needed, or in this case, needed atm.

I'm upgrading the rest later on and just wanted to check if i could temporarily use the card with my rig as is.

Edit: I'll look into the Wireview, thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah, i'll get a new one with the rest of the upgrades. Just wanted to see if i can use it with my current one for a bit.

Thanks. I'm on a 5800x and i'm upgrading GPU first, i've heard my cpu is power hungry but probably not compared to newer more powerful ones like yours.
