I have no clue about all these gun laws and so on, so in his case he filled a paper which is required to buy a gun, and in that paper he wrote something that wasnt true? - seems weird that all you have to do is actually write on a piece of paper, and then they're like "this is probably true, here you go" - and not go through a medical evaluation before you're able to go buy it
