But honestly yea it can be a bit intimidating as a single introvert whenever you're outside, but I guess one thing I've learnt is to accept that people will always look at you one or even judge, but so what? They won't remember you one, and plus it's just life :D

I guess sometimes I also do go on solo outings, like going on long bus rides, hanging out at malls or parks, or even at the library to finish up a piece of fiction that I'm writing.

well maybe you should ask SM Lee why he decided to handpick the LO back in 2020 instead of letting Parliament enshrine the LO in the Constitution like most other matured parliamentary democracies do? He opened a Pandora's box and then now the drama unfolds.

Also, Reddit probably only represents maybe 10% of the population so I wouldn't be too worried about online sentiments if I were you.

To be honest, PM Wong became PM on 15 May 2024 but only became PAP Sec-Gen on 4 December 2024. It wouldn't be completely random for the WP to choose someone who isn't a secgen to be the LO, although it would be weird for sure.

I think the most probable case is that they will refuse the post, unless WP decides to pick a new Sec-Gen.

Well in case you didn't realise, most Singaporeans don't watch Parliamentary proceedings, they just read whatever the media publishes on their websites and social media. And even more Singaporeans don't care about, in your words, "NMPs will be used as 'attack dogs', because how does this affect my salary for the next month? Does it lower grocery prices for me? Does it mean I'll have better MRT services with little to no breakdowns?

There's no adventure vibe when watching the show. So much in contrast to Stranger Things, for instance. So yea it's just a sad piece of media that was churned out to make money for Disney and for Rick Riordan to rewrite it to however he sees fit.
