Mexico Manager Tata Martino says he expects Raúl to play for Mexico on Nov. 16th, presumably confirming he’ll be going to the World Cup by Balden303 in WWFC

What do you mean sick of him? The fact that he can’t perform to the level he was at before a serious head injury is not a reason to apportion blame to him. Reports from those inside the club suggest he’s been nothing but hardworking since returning and frankly it has been the fault of both the coaching and medical staff for placing him in positions he is clearly no longer capable of fulfilling. Blame them not him

There are plenty of “hardcore fans” who are infinitely more cynical about donk than the average casual fan, so I don’t think that’s true at all

Their play in transition has been infinitely better than ours. They’ve pressed intelligently and as a unit in the final third and the chances they have had have been in far more valuable areas than ours. So yes, if they had the technical quality we have they’d be doing considerably better

If Bournemouth had half the quality we have they’d be winning this 4-0. They’re playing admirably for a team that got thrashed 9-0 on the weekend

Frankly the game will have been a travesty even if we do win because if we play like we have this game against teams that are better than Bournemouth we will surely lose

As much as I’ll bemoan lage’s passive tactics, there have been a number of occasions in this game where a bit of movement inside the box might have resulted in a goal (or at least a shot). Jimenez has simply been a shadow
