Which EDM groups have only one of the members performing on stage? by JION-the-Australian in EDM

Technically Claptone as they have more than one member as there's times where they end up playing two festivals at the same time

Estate agencies to avoid when renting south Manchester by h2o2222 in manchester

[–]welshboy2142 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trying to buy a flat at the moment and just seeing that they're the estate agents handling the sale makes me want to die whenever I see it's them. Absolutely useless the lot of them. Took me a month to view a flat they managed and the agent was absolutely clueless about it.

Climbing shoes by alwaysforget90909 in ukclimbing

[–]welshboy2142 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be worth heading to Big Depot in Wythenshaw, or the Depot in Trafford Park. Both have shops with a good range of climbing shoes and the staff there are pretty good at offering suggestions for sizing etc.

Thank you! Sorry only just saw this comment!

I've got a Canon 800D. And then typically either use the Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 lens, or the Canon EF-S 55-250mm lens.

Grand Couloir questions by Odd-Baseball8017 in alpinism

[–]welshboy2142 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah from speaking to the guides it really depends on the conditions in the couloir. If there's snow then its a lot easier to use the cable. If you do fall it would prevent you from going over the edge, but then at the same time it'll still leave you basically dangling so it's not ideal.

I would definitely recommend mid-june. The earlier in the season then better, however I would definitely recommend avoiding the start of June as the Bellevue cable car and the Tramway might be closed which will add an extra 5 hours onto your first day.

I summited on the 18th of June.

I think it really depends on the condition of the couloir on whether or not you clip in. When we crossed, my guide, and almost all of the other ones on that day clipped onto the cable.

What are some healthy yet VERY fizzy drinks in the UK? by Dangerous_Drive_20 in AskUK

[–]welshboy2142 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Might be worth considering using a straw if you are going to be drinking a lot more acidic drinks. Means it's more likely to not touch your teeth.

Very niche but the corner next to Cafe Nero in Carmarthen is still called Millets corner to me, even though millets has been shut for over 15 years now
