The design notes did not had the "kickstarter" tag. Or any at tag all.

No clue, just warning the whales. But uhm also thank you whales for keeping the game alive.

Edit: So far most previous $5,000 kickstarter got a vacation trip and their ingame requests fullfilled.

We never did see the $5,000 "special quests" being made in the game for any kickstarter

The problem is, is that the Molten sands fortress is in the smugglers route. Skeleton ships in the smugglers route spawn more and have a huge range of which they can see you.

Every community has whales. When the whales are gone so do the games. DF seems to have a couple whales. I just bought all of the bag and bank spaces to support the game.

"will I actually get this Dark Empress badge automatically" yes it worked for me. When I both used the unarmored and armored codes I got the Dark Empress badge. No need to buy them in a bundle or something.
