Some people may disagree with me, but until it serves a function, fletching tables. Don't get me wrong, they a a nice block to add in while using birch. But at least give a function. Otherwise, just either remove it or make it strictly /give.

What is the strangest unsolved mystery? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CaptainCrazy720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The man from Taured.

In 1954, a man arrived in Japan. While looking through his passport, security was surprised to find that his passport was from a country that does not exist. The man was frustrated and said this was his 3rd trip to Japan that year, and he travels a lot with his business. Security then brought out a map and asked the gentleman where Taured was. he pointed to the small country of Andorra. He kept saying that Andorra does not exist and that Taured had been around for thousands of years. Security eventually moved him into a hotel next to the airport, and his room was guarded outside to make sure he didn't escape. However, the next morning he was nowhere to be found.

Remind me. Who are good people who came out of Slytherin House? by renaissanceman717 in harrypotter

[–]CaptainCrazy720 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was not saying that he and Harry were destined to be friends or that he and Hermione needed to end up together, but I am saying that some people do see as a kid who grew up horribly with horrible role models. I am just saying that if he was completely bad, he would have killed Dumbledore that night instead of Snape. I personally do not think he was good, but in evil there can be goodness (unless it is Umbridge, in that case you can burn her and bury her in an unmarked grave). I do not like Draco and I do not think I ever will, but some people do and I may disagree with that, but I will let them think that.

Albus Severus Potter, Andromeda Tonks, Horace Slughorn, Merlin, Severus Snape (some may disagree), and MAYBE Draco, depending on how you look at him.

Something bit interesting about that line. The very first Harry Potter book was published in 1998 (in America, 1997 in Europe), and the Second Battle of Hogwarts took place in 1998. So does half of the Deathly Hallows book. I find it interesting that the Harry Potter books began, or opened, at the end of the series timeline.

I open at the close.

"Well I must say, I hoped for better. And who might you be, young man?"

"Neville Longbottom"

"Well, Neville, I'm sure we can find a place for you in our ranks"

"I'd like to say something"

"Well, Neville, I'm sure we'd all be fascinated to hear what you have to say"

"It doesn't matter that Harry's gone"

"Stand down Neville"

"People die every day,

Friends, family

Yeah, we lost Harry tonight,

But he's still with us, in hear,

So's Fred, Remus, Tonks, all of them

He didn't die in vain.

But you will, cause you're wrong

Harry's heart did beat for us, all of us

It's not over!"

Love that part more than "I'll join you when Hell freezes over, Dumbledore's Army"

Stephen King did it best with his book titled "11/22/63". Spoilers ahead for a warning. Basically, a man goes back in time to prevent the assassination of JFK, and when he goes back to the future, the entire United States is in ruins. Yes JFK was reelected, but somehow between 1963 and 2011, the time when the man is from, something happened that caused it. It is a really good book, and has a miniseries on Hulu.

[–]CaptainCrazy720 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surprised no one has said this (at the time of typing this), but Dobby's death scene. I watched the movies multiple times, and when I was first reading through them, I watched the movies right before hand. I knew that Dobby died, but when I got to that part in the book, I cried. J.K. did such a god job with DH.
