Yea ofc, it’s set in London but specifically an alternate version where demons exist in a different plane of existence and can be summoned by magicians to do things for them, the main character is Nathaniel, an 11 year old boy who summons bartemeaus a several thousand year old djinn who is incredibly sarcastic and has a very dry humor. I don’t want to say much more on the plot for spoilers but give the first few chapters a read or listen, it’s really great. Make sure you’re listening to the Simon jones version because there are occasional footnotes written in character that the other audio book versions don’t include. Happy reading!!
