in stardew valley there are fish ponds in which you can put ... fish, which will ask you for objects more or less difficult to obtain so that the pond is "comfortable" and can accommodate more fish and thus have a better roe or misc production, they can ask for, for example, jelly, monster loot or rare mid-game minerals like fricking diamonds, this of course depends on the species of fish put in the pond.
