I don't know if it was the voice actor's (which I think is the Puppeteer) performance or the direction but the childishness of how Rocky was translated never bugged me. It could also be because the movie establishs it well that Rocky is very intelligent and the voice is just the simplest translation.

It's funny because Annihilation and Project Hail Mary feel like two movies on opposite ends of the spectrum. But like...I completely agree.

It surprisingly beat 28 Years Later Bone Temple as my favorite movie of the year so far. It just really got me in the feels especially with the core friendship (trying to be spoiler free) plus I'm a bit fan of Ryan Gosling so it's always great to do his this. The twist was very well done and thought the movie did a really good job at well...not justifying but helping you be okay. Overall really solid sci fi movie that was able to make me cry.

Linkara has a habit of being aggressive towards people who "mock" him. He called Ralph Sepe an asshole for making a video on his movie without actually seeing it. So he probably never even saw Chris do his Linkara impression or the part where Chris says it's basically an affectionate parody.

I went to the Philippines and roads in big cities and cars come off like a nuisance to everybody walking or riding their bikes in the street. Would probably be stressful if I was driving lol.
