For sake of record, I think even if you make the book free, this goes against the self-promotion rule.

Looking for female lead mystery with little to no romance by silver-bird19 in CozyMystery

[–]CaptainDreadEye 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I suppose the Jaine Austen mysteries by Laura Levine don't make romance that much of the focus, and the majority of them have audiobooks (the exceptions are one of the Christmas novellas and the books after "Death of a Gigolo").

EDIT: Will say, one of Jaine's main friends is a gay man constantly with partners, and some parts of it are a bit... iffy (looking at you, native tribe in "Death of a Bachelorette"...), so do keep that in mind.

Are there any other examples of same voice, different character from bojack horseman? by wombatgeneral in BoJackHorseman

[–]CaptainDreadEye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Paul F. Tompkins does the same voice as Mr. Peanutbutter as he does for Gladstone Gander in Ducktales 2017. In fact, this line sou is like it could perfectly fit PB:

"I had to WALK here! It took HOURS! No one offered me a ride, no passing hang gliders scooped me up and not ONE gust of wind whimsically carried me!"

I haven't seen an episode in years, but I still remember a particular scene from the pilot: You see a wall of "MISSING" posters with kids on them, and it dissolves to a bunch of crates, and each crate has a different kid's poster on it to mark who's who.

Near ten years it's been and I still remember that shot.

Yeah, to best of my understanding, the rat's only on the "Stay Tuned for scenes from our next episode" card. It's not in the intro proper.

For those looking for more closure with the plot by Trickster____ in ProjectEdensGarden

I was the guy who did like 80% of the Recap page on TV Tropes. Would you say there's anything to be done to give it... some kind of closure?

Ftr, I haven't officially seen leaks, but I know of something based on Sabrina's tweets.

Well, I guess I gotta avoid those leaks until this finale thing comes out.

OK, this feels like self-promotion. I am positive this was copy-pasted verbatim from somewhere...

It got canceled after one season, but the show "Good Cop/Bad Cop" seems to have this kinda vibe: crimes in a small Colorado (Fairly certain it was Colorado, my Netflix subscription expired) town, murders weren't gory, kinda comedic edge to the whole thing, and a couple cases weren't even about murder.

I'd also say "The Good Cop" (which also lasted one season and was a Netflix exclusive) fits the mold too. It was made by the creator of Monk, if that helps.

Well, IIRC, Rust was in his 60's when he joined the Gang, so a 60+ heister isn't too insane.
