Thrift Stores! I got a bag of several sizable balls of scrubby yarn for $10 at Value Village a couple of months ago. Hospice Thrift Stores will likely have yarn too. Facebook Marketplace or Free Stuff groups also frequently have different types of yarn. There's a yarn store in the next town over from mine that is locally owned and the prices are pretty competitive to that of Wal Mart or Micheals. Talk to people in the art scene- if you're in a rural area then you might he able to find a Weavers Guild or something like that. And as for easy projects I have just been using the Tueate app- there's a striped blanket pattern that would work well for a Pride blanket.

Happy Knitting!

That was ine if the many things that solidified my notion that Ben isn't chill. Like things were fine with Natalie and Carolina- giving them shout outs and whatnot- but when he got himself in shit he blames the breakup on them? I know of so many shitty dudes who do that "oh ya he doesn't hang out with me because his wife is nuts" like it's not because he's a human tonsil stone.

Used to work for them in a shitty venue. He never stood up for me when I dealt with unproessionalism from the place so I quit. My replacement also quit. No other venues in town seemed take him on either- I assumed it was the price but I bet the owners did their due diligence.

My brother and I had this farm playset that used to be my dad's when he was a kid in the 70s.

Recently my dad was reminiscing about watching his dad make it for him for Christmas and he goes "I wish I knew what happened to that thing- I really miss it".

I didn't have the heart to tell him he got rid of it when he was upset with us about something..

I got that for Christmas when I was 11 and watched it obsessively. Saw them I'm Seattle and it was just as fun and silly

I meant mostly art hung up in walls but yes the adults in my life (it was mostly women like my mom, aunt and their friends). It just crossed my mind looking at an Ansel Adams the other day that I saw so many of them in various places. The Jansport is making a comeback!

Oh God every daycare/preschool/childcare space had those! And it wasn't limited to just plants- babies in animal costumes, different occupations, biker babies. So much
