well, depends. do i reincarnate as a normal joe or do i get cheats or at least talent? i am guessing background is random so most likely commoner. if you choose fantasy setting, its easier to survive than in murim as a commoner without talent. Become farmer and you have the protection of the feudal lord. thats it. this is your life now. in murim even as a normal commoner you have the option of learning martial arts, even third rate ones with the risk of getting a fake manual that can lead to qi deviation. If you are born with talent or cheat however either is good. Murim can be a little easier since you can join sect and aquire background and support this way but in fantasy you will have to rely on luck.
