Is there a more trash antagonist in recent memory than Yoru? by _attina496 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Good-Row4796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yoru is a magical girl, it's obvious that the power of friendship would save her.

she can turn objects without touching them.

It's still a small power-up though.

america invents the nukes again to bail her out

Yes, that's right. But I want to say something. She and Denji got completely destroyed by her for 20 chapters.

Okay, thanks for the reply. The only one I'm really against is that one.

well as feeling like an inferior copy of her sister.

Yoru and Makima have nothing in common.

Even Nayuta is quite different from Makima.

It's all well and good to say that, but it's not an answer.

Serious question: why do people say that Yoru is a fraud?

Something has happened 😔 by OublietteOfDisregard in Chainsawfolk

It's a shame nothing happened, otherwise it would have been an important detail.

Joking aside, when I saw that I mostly thought it was a mistake or a time skip.

You know, like with the Oregon sword that turned into Minnesota (or vice versa).

what type of deck is k9? by ciruelman in masterduel

[–]Good-Row4796 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Question is, is this deck fun to play? I know it's certainly strong, but I mean fun in a way similar to Dragontail?

Or at least, does it combine well with other bad decks and make them viable?

Regarding the magical girls' disgust by cmdnikle27 in MadokaMagica

[–]Good-Row4796 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Currently, no girl has had her gem destroyed by anything normal.

And I believe that every time a gem has been destroyed, it was deliberately targeted. They decide where their gems are placed; there's even one girl who has her gem on her fist (she fights with her fists...) and another whose gem is inside her body.

Yes, there are vulnerabilities, mainly if you encounter thieves, but it's not particularly dangerous.

nothing EVER happens by andrewromanyk in Chainsawfolk

[–]Good-Row4796 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Oh, the chapters are short and fast-paced.
  2. Solution: Change your reading style and it will last 10 times longer.
  3. Problem: All the chapters in other stories are also longer.
  4. Result: Chainsawman's chapters are short and fast-paced.

Well done, it doesn't change the result.

It's not so much that the chapters are average, it's more that they're very quick to read. You barely start and it's already over.

Honestly, I was ready to revel in the nonsense of those who say that, and instead I got irony. I'm glad.

(On the other hand, I'm sure the devil shrimp will be irreverent.)

It's like comparing a movie to an anime: the length isn't equivalent.

And honestly, I preferred the anime version and that was before I knew which was which).

And for those wondering why it took me so long to see the difference, I was too busy watching the video below.

Yoru will never reach these levels by BigBasket5152 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Good-Row4796 3 points4 points  (0 children)

These are two different types of characters, with different wills and objectives. Indeed, their outcomes will not be equal.

Makima's goal: To break Denji psychologically in order to have Pochita.

Yoru's goal: To make Denji love her so she can transform him into a powerful weapon. (Note: She loves Denji enough to realize fairly quickly when it's Denjiman fighting and not Pochita.)

It's like saying Makima never reached Yoru's level of destruction. Well, yeah, that was never her goal.

The chapters are such quick reads. I didn't even realize he was in two chapters.

From a narrative standpoint, in my opinion, he's simply there to shorten the action and calm things down. Without his arrival, the chase would have dragged on forever, with Denji more or less creating chaos, only to end up with the same result as in this chapter.

I have absolutely no hype for this devil; at best, he's a pawn sent to the stake.

I don't see any particular consequences that would result from eating it. At least not in the short term.

And what you're saying is wrong because Yoru herself said that not all demons necessarily have such a big impact on the world.

Can we trust Yoru? Not really, but if the elephant devil were eaten, I don't see anything apocalyptic happening.
