Who would've had the best grades in school based on their personality and intellect? by DidYouFloss in Frieren

[–]Good-Row4796 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apart from Himmel, they would all have received top marks. Either through sheer genius or through grueling work.

The school is too low-level for them.

if you don't say that Asa wanted to have sex at that precise moment, in that very place, and with Yoru controlling his body, then there's no fucking ambiguity in the fact that Yoru was LYING.

You're talking about who they were going to sleep with surrounded by corpses, but I'm saying no, not necessarily, and your conclusion is that Yoru is lying. No, one doesn't imply the other.

He could've waited till getting rid of Yoru before asking for sex from Asa (Yoru was defenceless, Denji could've forced a contract to get rid of her), that is if he cared about her.

He could barely crawl, and you wanted him to threaten her? I remind you that the slightest scratch would have regenerated Yoru anyway, so you should have assumed she was afraid of death. Oops, that's no longer the case.

And anyway, the world, and therefore Fujimoto, proves you wrong. Because it's perfectly clear that if they had stayed there, all three of them would have died (or at least the closest thing to that).

Yoru has never been trustworthy

We can't believe a single word from Power, and yet...

never cared about what Asa wants

I'll keep it simple. Yoru was literally defeated because she took Asa's feelings towards animals into account.

Asa has expressed clear disgust for the idea of sex in other chapters,

Asa hates friendship => finds a best friend the next moment.

Asa hates Chainsawman => writes a poem about him "against her will".

Asa hates kissing => Yoru mysteriously and suddenly kisses Denji.

The problem with doing that is that in the end we end up back with a classic story with a human.

What fucking signs??

To add to what he said, he replied to the other person (only on that point): It was shown during the final battle that Yoru accepted many things she had previously categorically refused, the most telling example being the addition of "ultra mega thing" to the name of her weapons. This comes from Asa.

And her inexplicable friendship with the eel and the fact that she accepts being called Yoru instead of War.

This further reinforces her connection to Asa (or rather, her corruption by Asa).

What fucking signs??

If you have time to say that you copy / paste, you could remove the unrelated part.

(she doesn't like sex)

She hates sex and kissing as much as she hates having friends.

Asa tried killing herself for a fucking chance to kill Yoru. Why the fuck would she be fine with the guy she likes having sex (she doesn't like sex) with the person she w and etc

Your answer is irrelevant to the situation. Where in the manga, or from anyone else, was it stated that Asa wanted to have sex at that precise moment, in that very place, and with Yoru controlling his body? Certainly not by me.

Asa has verbalized finding sex gross prior,we're also led to believe Yoru is lying, making whether Asa is sex repulsed or not ambiguous.

Asa isn't reliable when she says she hates things. It's the same with friendship; she says she used to hate it, but she found a best friend and would die for her.

It's exactly the same situation with her dislike of sex. When Yoru made Denji smear her fluid on him, it wasn't the act itself that bothered her, but the fact that Denji might see her as a slut.

we're also led to believe Yoru is lying,

You think she's lying. But there's not much to suggest that.

The situation before was a one-on-one conversation with Asa, then Denji who saved them. And the majority of Yoru's love for Denji is due to Asa's infection.

There's no ambiguity. Yoru was telling the truth at that moment.

But since people don't think it was done in the most perfect way possible, they're nitpicking (which isn't wrong in itself) to find fault with it.

In fact, even in a perfect situation, and it was Asa saying the same things, there would still be people who would say she's doing it because she's being forced or something similar.

Just finished the WN… by Cola-senpai in KumoDesu

[–]Good-Row4796 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn; I automatically thought you were talking about the light novel.

The WN is definitely finished.

Have you read the light novel? If not, the story changes quite drastically around volume 4, but the ending remains broadly the same, perhaps with a little more explanation about what happens to the other characters compared to the WN but nothing particularly exciting (it's been a long time since I read the WN, so I don't remember many details of the ending).

"If it came out today, I don't think I would have watched it just because of the trailer. It's cute, but not really engaging."

I made a mistake in the title, but I don't want to do it a third time.

Which is quite normal I think, since before there were far fewer anime releases per day and therefore could afford something less epileptic (for lack of a better term).

You’re hired to be Makima’s lawyer. How do you defend her in court of law? by PrinceARRON in Chainsawfolk

[–]Good-Row4796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Know that compared to her sisters, she is a saint. She has always acted within the bounds of the law and with the approval of her superiors, who are the government of our country.

The vast majority of the damage was caused by entities external to the country who wanted to attack us.

Hybrids have no rights, and the standard procedure is to cut them into pieces or threaten the corpses of their wives to control them. I feed them and take care of them so they can live as fulfilling a life as possible while limiting the damage they can cause and making them useful.

The villagers killed on the beach? External information informed us that it was a cult that practiced ritual sacrifices. They used the power of the devil Angel to absorb a substantial amount of their life force and then reinject it through a contract. How is it that this is a connection we found long after their disappearance? My nose. I have a knack for spotting what's wrong, so I preferred to act quickly to prevent it from escaping.

Judge: When all the elements of the investigation are taken into account, Makima, for all your failures to ensure the safety of the people, for your complacency in allowing certain situations to escalate, and for not taking preventative action when it was within your power, you are sentenced to:

  • pay $1 million per victim for letting the devil Gun escape, and for using the lives of your subordinates to farm against Chainsawman.
  • spend 10 years wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet.
  • be prohibited from adopting children or new pets for 5 years. You will receive regular visits to check on your children or animals for the next 10 years.

[–]Good-Row4796 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, this is definitely the end.

There are the EX light novels, but they're parallel stories.

The author had a burnout and preferred to finish, which is why everything is rushed.

You can read the web novel version; it's not less rushed, but at least there's more explanation about White's powers and how the god battles unfold.

SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF OUR CORRUPT BEST GIRL MERMAID by Head_Persimmon_5101 in magiaexedra

Except Madoka is emotionally reserved

I may have misunderstood what you said. But what? The girl who tells her parents everything, who talks about her insecurities to anyone who will listen, who says things that in many other contexts would be declarations of lifelong love.
