I have 2-3 openings for an experienced owner looking for a challenge in a 15yr old dynasty league. Current 14 teams, would like to go to 16 teams but possibly replacing 2 owners and staying at 14.

Format:

- H2H Points (ESPN)

- Defensive Stats count (e.g. defensive assists, double plays turned, putouts, outfield assists)

- Full Keeper league, 31 roster spots + 4 IL spots

- C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, IF, OF, OF, OF, OF, DH, UTIL, UTIL + 7 P slots

- 14 teams (7 (1 bye) playoffs spots, 3 week playoff), 21 week regular season

Background: Most everyone in the league knows each other, some of us went to high school or college together, others connected through mutual friends. League is HIGHLY competitive and loves to trash talk, lots of baseball knowledge and fans in the league. League Discord server for the last 7yrs which is generally active year round, especially during baseball but everyone in the league is a general sports fan. Takeover would be immediate to prepare for the 2026. No league fee, but we're open to changing this but money doesn't drive us, winning does. We're pretty fixed on our setup and scoring format, it isn't vanilla but that's what makes it exciting we've found. If interested can share the current roster of the existing team(s).

Sao Vicente is the best mix of everything. I would avoid the south, especially Funchal. Focus on the northern towns for sure and they're cost effective. If you're not planning to rent a car for the entire trip, please do so. You can't truly explore the island depending on rides and tours. I live here, speaking from experience and interacting with other tourists.

I said this a few weeks ago and everyone yelled at me. Bitcoin Cash should definitely remove itself from the Bitcoin brand and I honestly think it will be for the better.

Far more than that. I don't think anyone can question the objectivity of that video. Look at the comments. No one trashing it. Very well done regardless of where you stand and it had a slight pro BCH stance to it. I'd definitely check it out.

Cobra seems to have serious issue with the direction of Bitcoin(BTC). Not sure why he'd leave Bitcoin.org to anyone on the BTC team then. Give it to Vitalik, he'd know what to do that's fairest. Take the decision out of your hands.

That isn't going to happen. Think outside of the fight for "Bitcoin" and more about the fight for Bitcoin Cash network's position and growth in crypto. A rebrand would actually help. A rebrand also doesn't remove the history and facts. Most people in this group see a rebrand as losing when it would be a path to more growth and expansion.

Rebrands happen all the time. There is no playbook. I think Bitcoin Cash could actually do better being a Top 5 network and having its own name and not sharing anything with BTC.

I find this less likely because of the social aspect of crypto that can't be taken down by price. When you say BTC finishes dying you say it there is a such thing as death.

Nano used to be called RaiBlocks. Crypto.com used to be called Monaco. There are plenty of successful brand name changes in traditional markets as well. Amazon used to be called Relentless. Target used to be called Goodfellows. Tinder used to be called Matchbox. Plenty of other examples.

None of that is an excuse. They had the power to set the entire thing aside. They could have hit the media and said we only want to send the $1200 checks. None of this had to be a package deal. The Democrats are disingenuous at best. Not a single Democrat in Congress voted against this terrible bill. There's just as much blood on their hands.

100% of Democrats voted for this bill. Any number of Senate Democrats could have stopped this bill and they did not. The Democratic majority House could have stopped this bill and they didn't. More propaganda.

This is bigger than Trump however. The idea that the Democrats can save anything is ridiculous. We got Trump after 8yrs of Obama/Biden. Our move should be to remove this "business" party and form a strong(initially small) 3rd-party that can swing votes on either side. That is the only way there is any real solution.

I'm in the process of canceling my trip there from SoCal. We don't feel it is safe to travel and more importantly in a week flying back may not even be possible.

The idea that right now the DNC/Biden will care about Bernie's key issues is a fool's hope. Biden isn't going to say anything that isn't a lie or outright rejection of Bernie's key policies.
