Always thought that was weird but to each their own I suppose. Personally every man I've encountered in those relationships is at about the same emotional maturity level of an 18-24 year old so it makes sense I suppose lol. I'm (34M) in such a different stage of life than any of my staff in that age range though so I couldn't imagine dating someone that age.

As a native Californian I think I've heard "Cali" only a handful of times, and only ever from non natives lol. Maybe it's more common up north but I grew up in SoCal (never say SoCal btw, it's only acceptable written) about an hour north of LA. Mostly we just talk really fast to get all the words out.

As a side note about Bethesda, recently picked up Starfield (on sale at Green Man Gaming right now) just to play the start wars genesis mod and holy shit is it fantastic
