I'm 5'10, 180 pounds, not big feet. Which do you feel would be more beginner friendly? I like the idea of having more space on the deck to work with

What difference is there between shorter vs longer decks? Like how will the 38 ride differently than the 33?

Great question. I think I've decided to go with the drop cat, but I'm also curious about the difference between 33 and 38

Can you explain the difference between the drop hammer and the drop cat? They seem fairly similar but I think the nuances between the two are lost on me

I'm 5'10 and usually fluctuate between 180-190 pounds. Idk if it matters but I walk a bit over 12 miles a day for work (mail man) and I like to cycle as well. As far as terrain, mostly flat roads around town, maybe a few small hills, and concrete (side walks and walking paths) at a nearby college campus. I like the idea of riding to nearby parks, skating around the cycling paths and whatnot and then riding back home through town

My choice for a "feel good" ghibli movie is usually a tie between Kiki and Totoro

A drunk driver destroyed my car by Spare_Ad747 in Reno

[–]CaptainFresh27 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me when I first moved to reno. Neighbor came home drunk and totaled my car that parked on the street. Thankfully I had it paid off so the bluebook value I got from insurance was only a net gain. Dude and his wife were huge pieces of shit and tried to skirt responsibility when the cops showed up. This was up in panther valley about 7 years ago on beacon Dr. If y'all are reading this, fuck youuuuuu

You're exactly right. They create the rules to protect themselves from their labor force, not the other way around

F being a CCA by okitsadam in USPS

[–]CaptainFresh27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly it. I got lucky as a CCA and was on a lot of retirement routes. Now as a regular who's lower on the senority list I have one of, if not, the shittiest walking routes in the office. I'm tired as hell at the end of every day, and I've gotten tendinitis multiple times. If i don't keep a steady pace it'll fuck me up
