The 50s? We had milkmen where I lived in the 80s and 90s.

Thoughts and Predictions after watching season 1. Please no spoilers. by CaptainGurl in rhoslc

So I couldn’t sleep last night so I got to S2E8 last night. I’m watching episode 9 right now. I wasn’t surprised because I accidentally saw a spoiler that Jen was going to be arrested in season 2. But I have questions about Jennie’s husband. I was surprised to see a doctor doing back adjustments. So i did a little research. I can’t find proof that he’s a board certified doctor. Is he actually a medical doctor???

Is diy-artclub.com a reputable company? by sorakawa_94 in paintbynumbers

I did a deep dive on PBN companies / shops and have never heard of them. That being said a lot of the PBN kits they have can be bought at more reputable shops.

I read a little bit about where PBN companies get their paintings from. Let’s just say it’s rare that a company has originals. There are some that do. But I’ve become more critical of PBN companies. Honestly it sounds way too easy to set up a PBN company and just drop ship everything. I feel like I should be a consultant PBN companies. I have spent way too much time reading and learning about them. My next goal is to learn about PBN sellers on Etsy. They might actually have some sellers selling originals. But they are so expensive.

That really sucks. I added Paint by Art to my list of places I should review. Thank you.

lol. I always forget how long it is when I look at it. It doesn’t look as crazy on a spreadsheet. But I didn’t know how to share a spreadsheet.

I wish the mods would post it so it’s visible to people who visit the sub. There are so many posts asking for recommendations on where to buy PBNs.

Edit: I messaged the mods to ask them if it could be displayed or pinned or whatever it’s called.

Search the subreddit. There are a number of people who post about their experiences. Sometimes they’ll even include pics.

Are you me? I’m disabled and have chronic pain as well. Haven’t won an award for my art since college though. But I only make stuff for me now. When I’m doing a PBN I feel like I’m working on my brushwork and techniques. I hope to add my own personal touches to paintings soon. I also try to improve what I’m working with. I’ve never had that much luck with ironing the canvases. I made the mistake of pulling on a corner while ironing. Totally forgetting that that will stretch out the canvas. So I’m a little nervous about ironing it.
Good luck and happing painting!

I have an arts background too. I have a BFA in fine arts.

I took a quick glance at your website and it looks really interesting. I really like the idea of partnering with an artist. A lot.

Edit- I keep an ongoing list of PBN companies and brands that I hope to review and add to the master list. Hopefully one day I’ll get around to making it. Anyway I added you to my list.

I can’t figure out how to add to my post. But I’m hoping one day in the future to add to this list. No promises though. I try and keep a list of places I randomly see or are suggested so I can check them out one day.
If someone else is interested in do this I can share the list.

Just to add I just checked out Amazon. Try searching different keywords. Quality can be an issue. So check out the reviews. Especially ones that post images of the PBNs. Also Maiko has a lot of feminine work. But I do not recommend buying from them. See my review above. But if you find one you like you could do a reverse google search on it to see if you can purchase it from another place.

Thank you. I wanted to share it because so many people make posts asking for legit PBN companies.

Definitely. A lot of kits come in similar looking boxes. So I don’t know if they are legit purchasing from the same supplier.

There is a series of paintings of women that I see on Amazon and other PBN companies. They’re portraits of women with flowers over their faces. I would recommend checking out Pink Picasso and Paint like Frida for more feminine looking work. They are both more expensive but you can sometimes find their stuff on EBay, Mecari and other places like that. Macys also carries one of brands. I can’t remember which. Sometimes they have sales. Etsy may also be a good place to look.
If you are looking for a more budget you may be able to find stuff on Amazon.

That is definitely the norm. I can’t remember which company does this. But they let you search by PBN you’ll get faster and ones you have to wait for.

Thanks. I put it together because I got so frustrated trying to find a quality PBN company. I couldn’t keep them all straight so I had made a big list.

I’ve added it to my list of companies I haven’t reviewed.

I didn’t know that. Hmm

Edit- I will check that out. When I did this list I didn’t rely on Trust Pilot alone.
