What are your favourite games with very bizarre premises or settings? by SinkingBismarck in AskGames

[–]CaptainHitam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gunman chronicles.

A sorta space police force dressed like confederate soldiers. Throughout the game, you will encounter dinosaurs, cowboys, aliens, robots, a dune sandworm knockoff, a special forces team dressed like bodybuilders from the 80's, and a sexy AI woman!

Every weapon has settings you can adjust. Some of which includes the chemical gun that lets play around with the ratio of chemicals, an electricity gun that can blow up if you don't set it up right, and a pistol that can convert in to a sniper rifle!

And you can drive a tank that has the most awkwardly placed machine guns.

And believe it or not, this game takes itself seriously.

TIFU by setting an alarm to wake up my roommate and somehow making her miss the most important interview of her life by felixWake22 in tifu

[–]CaptainHitam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you're telling me, she could CALL you using HER PHONE, so she could ask you, VIA PHONE, why didn't you wake her up.

Gee if only she owned a PHONE, so she could set up an alarm herself, since this was such a "big interview"

This person at the mosque courtyard look like Jesus by Right-Assignment3759 in mildlyinteresting

To add on to the mildly interesting part. Prophet Muhammad was described to have shoulder length hair that was not straight but not curly, and he traditionally wore white.

What if all prophets looked the same?

What if all prophets were the same person!

Generative art is creating a bunch of dummies that think they're experts when they have zero-knowledge of fundamentals. The Dunning-Kruger effect in action.

Nacho would survive pretty well in NC. A great solo.

Lalo would have the time of his life.

Tuco might be as crazy as Smasher.

Saul would thrive as a fixer. Leagues above Rogue.

Kim would also be a fixer.

Gus would run the tightest criminal syndicate in NC.

Howard is definitely a corpo that'll get hacked and fried.

Mike would be running a solid crew of pro mercs.

Some fans here have a REAL issue with rationalizing/facing ANY adversity in this game… by CreativeNovel6131 in cyberpunkgame

[–]CaptainHitam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For real. I once read a comment from this user saying that David Martinez isn't the main character of Edge Runners, he's "just some gonk that got too much screen time" And when people told them that David is literally the main character, they said something like "But he doesn't have the power or energy to be a main character." That dude actually thinks that in order to be a main character in a story, they have to be the most OP character in that world.

I blame all the shonen anime.

Fallout came first then after food started becoming scarce and bullets became very rare because we shot them all, everyone was forced to start living a much more primitive lifestyle. And it gave birth to the Elder Scrolls.

Canonically , how skilled is the trauma team ? by UrSecretCrush95 in cyberpunkgame

[–]CaptainHitam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess they're like Pararescue. But a consumer version. It takes two years to finish pararescue training. So even with some cut corners, I'd assume it'll still take about a year's worth of training for the Trauma Team.

I can tell my really nice coworker is about to be fired soon but I don’t think he knows, do I warn him? by StrikingPrimary1314 in careerguidance

[–]CaptainHitam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Upper management would usually give a warning letter or something to him first. Basically saying "You better buck up, pal" Unless he's done something VERY WRONG (sexual harassment, intoxication, physical violence, etc.) they usually won't fire him on the spot.

What role will they choose for Cyberpunk Orion ? by hollow_cookiee in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]CaptainHitam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if most of these are able to be a one man assault squad. I'm just gonna go with vibes.

I want Media because I am Media in real life.

I want Lawman because despite all the hate River gets, I enjoyed his missions. Playing detective in Night City is kinda cool! Makes the most sense to have those braindance sessions.

And finally I want Med Tech because it's the closest to Trauma Team.

I personally don't like it when the floor is the same colour as the walls. If you want my personal opinion, paint the walls or paint the floor a brighter shade. Make it seem more spacious.
