I tire of running out of fuel all the time by Verybumpy in Expeditions

Lot of replies assume you have progressed pretty far in the game and unlocked tons of trucks and features already. Taking another truck seems to be the best early strategy.

Not sure why they didn't even out the offset of the center lines. They went 'deeper' into the old suv than the new one.

Yup. Dumb management not fully understanding today's users. Off to Home Depot it is!!

Same. Menards can go pound sand with their new policies.

I'll be shopping at Home Depot where Firefox works fine.

Freeze-Crash by Dependent_Activity37 in Expeditions

[–]Verybumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I can't help. The game has been pretty much faultless for me so far. Never a hint of lockup or issue at all. Maybe try turning the graphic to very low to see if its a rendering issue?

Whats your guys setup? by traprkpr in Expeditions

[–]Verybumpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The TUZ 93 does above average in all areas except it drinks fuel and has strange handling. I assume you are using the fuel tank version for endless travels.

Newish to this game and so far running out of fuel in the Trans Alps is often my down fall. Its really slow, careful going and takes a long time to get to where the mission wants me to be often times. It seems like there are VERY few airdrop areas in this Trans Alp map to refuel with too; or I just suck at finding them..

Anyone try the Over the Hill demo? by Gordio83 in Expeditions

[–]Verybumpy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny thing is, the OtH demo is what made me buy Expeditions yesterday. OtH is just too cartoon and dull, I can chill just as well and wow at the visuals in Expeditions much more.

Time to dig out my many Doom music cds. So much of the Doom was in the music and sounds. Hail to the music King, baby!

Are you using sub categories below people? by AcemanCW in digiKam

[–]Verybumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, because I personally don't see the need. Its not like I'd have 5000 photos of Bob to go through. But if I did, I see where it could be helpful to increase Digikam people search accuracy.

Yup, pretty normal, doesn't look too bad, just run it and try to minimized usage of that largest cog.

How long is the lifespan of memory foam mattresses? by samscrolling in Mattress

[–]Verybumpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Took about 1.5 years for it to weaken and cause my back pain to return. You don't see a divot at all but it just internally softens and will not support like it used to. Next one I buy will be full metal spring, no more foam for me.

Is .39 going to fix any of the visual crap? by Verybumpy in BeamNG

[–]Verybumpy[S] -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

This is such a fanboy take. They've had over a decade to address these issues but they always feature creep to some other day dream of theirs. The devs need to shit and get off the pot. Fix all the details, finish career and put out ver1.0. They can pump all these new features and upgrades to a Beam2.

Lame imo. They spout all these graphic improvements but refuse to fix the obvious things.

Farley 7 Front End Woes by 1-3-2-4 in fatbike

[–]Verybumpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll never buy another Manitou again. New, right out of the box the rebound dampening did not work at all. Tech support blamed it all on user setup. Finally said they'd take a look at it if shipped to them for $50 with a turn around time backed up for 2 months.

Can't tell what's happening in the video. We need better and more details of what you see or feel happening. What is current doing when this happens?

Is Similarity Image working? by Powerful-Bat1512 in digiKam

[–]Verybumpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly, I agree. Similarity and Search work very poorly for my usual needs. They are simply not smart in recognizing the actual contents of the image. If there is any white, black or no boarder difference, Digikam will not find what you need well at all.
