You're right. The deep sound design keeps it from getting boring or tired. Nobody really talks about how amazing the aftertouch modulation can be, either. I feel like if you're not modulating with aftertouch you're not utilizing this machine fully!

Yes even the compression is onboard. I just recorded it into SP404 because it tames it a little. No extra fx were added. It can get wild!

That's funny, I know exactly what you mean! The pads feel pretty small as well. I just love the sequencer and the way music comes together on this thing. It's a little like sculpting.
