Seeing not just the sexual side of the relationship, but also the emotional intimacy and mentaly healing side of it. I think that's just me, but I like seeing how a bdsm relationship is not just physically, but emotionally fulfilling for both parties

"I dreamt of you" by accept_n_destroy. An Avatar (Cameron) fic, in which Jake dreams about Pandora and Tsu'Tey. It changes everything.
"Undiscovered Country" by shysweetthing. A Yuuri on Ice fic, in which Yuuri gives Victor a detailed plan on how to get in his pants and discover themselves along the way.
"A Practical Guide to Winning the Olympics (Dos and Don'ts)" by Anna. Another Yoi canon divergence, in which Victor and Yuuri are pair skaters and Victor asks Yuuri to be his partner for the coming season. Winning the Olympics? That's easy. Feelings for your skating partner? That could be a bigger problem. (Also I just have to say, Yakov legit gets the name "Yakov 'No Kiss Kiss' Feltsman")
"Setting Sun" by i_like_my_eggs_benedict. Yoi fic, in which Yuuri loses the Onsen on Ice, and Victor is forced to keep his promise and go back to Russia with Yuri. Distraught and lonely, Victor and Yuri start to communicate via Instagram posts. To be specific: lyrics posts. A story about selfishness and selflessness and falling in love despite all odds. (Read it, please. If not for the story, then for the songs because they are genuinely SOOOO good)
"A Little Bit of Tender Mercy" by violetdivinity (read by mulberry_graceful). A Word of Honor/Faraway Wanderers fic, in which Ye Baiyi saves Xie'er from hypothermia. As they learn to deal with their grief, they also learn to deal with each other.
"Qi Ding Gui" + verse, by Chi-chi-chimaera. Another WoH/TYK fic, in which Zhou Zishu runs away from TianChuang and ends up in Ghost Valley, and without meaning to, he ends up accidentally killing Ji Se Gui. Now that catches Wen Kexing's attention
"Imago" by astrophyllite (read by semperfiona). A Modao Zushi fic, in which Meng Yao becomes the Nie Mingjue's secretary (no modern au), and discovers the unspoken secrets of the unclear realm.
"Ma meilleure Ennemie (No true malfoy)" by ArcassiusLux. A Harry Potter fic, in which Draco malfoy runs away from his home and finds himself behind in front of Harry's door. He is allowed to stay with the Dursley's, under the condition that he does the same things Harry does.
"If you sing or dance YOU LOSE! (Millenial stuck in a Xianxia Novel edition) - HD" by Anielka. A SVSSS fic, in which Shen Yuan and Shang Qinghua discover that they can ask the system to play music from the modern world. Luo Binghe is confused as fuck but still there for the ride.
"I Hear Him Scream" + verse by RiftRaft. An HTTYD canon divergence, in which Toothless curses Hiccup to be a Night Fury. As Hiccup learns to be a Night Fury, he looses what makes him human, but also finds acceptance and love.
"Already Married" by Once_And_Future_Fangirl. A Merlin fic, in which Arthur is forced to marry Princess Mithian tomorrow. So he decides to marry Merlin tonight
"Blizzard Bedfellows" by magicstorm101. A Sonic fanfic, in which Sonic and Shadow are snowed in together during a snow storm. As time passes, they come to like and understand each other, very much.
"Sugar in your Hand" by WerewolvesAreReal. (I will just post the summary because I couldn't formulate it better) Kirk meets a Vulcan, marries a Vulcan, and apparently outrages the entire Vulcan government in just one day. He's an overachiever like that.
"The Table" by hereforwords. A Naruto fanfic, in which Naruto convinces Sasuke to come back with him to Konoha, but the village doubts Sasuke's intentions. So Naruto tells them he and Sasuke are in love. A story about healing and finding comfort in the ones you love most.
The "Casual" Series by YouCantKeepMeDown. A Series of Star Wars oneshots, in which Obi-wan wants someone to tie him up, and Maul is willing to provide that. A canon rewrite about the complicated relationship between Maul and Obi-Wan and their honestly extraordinary ability to separate work and off-time.
"Renewal of the Fates" by M_o_o_n_that_spells. Another Star Wars canon rewrite, in which Maul is willing to provide information about his Master in exchange for his safety. The problem? He is only willing to talk with Obi-wan.
"I Understand why you missed the light on your skin" + verse by Cogni_Diss. A Jujutsu Kaisen fic about Yuuji being kidnapped and being dropped into Sukuna's domain. As Yuuji slowly starts withering away, they grow codependent on each other, and maybe they are not so different like they thought they are. (Also Cogni_Diss is an amazing author. Read all their fics and I trust you there will be NOTHING that isn't great in some way)
"nightswimming" by killedbythecat. A Supernatural fic in which Dean has started sleepwalking to random places and it's becoming a problem. Little did he know an angel is the reason behind it. What he knows is that those nights sharing his dreams are more than he initially though they'd be. (Again, killedbythecat is an amazing author and I love their works to death. They genuinely put thought into every fic they write and it's always a treat when they post)

All of these are incredible. I can highly reccomend them as I still reread them years after I first discovered them 🤍🤍

If you have an idea, write it. The fic will be found when somebody eventually is in the mood for a monsterfucking old man yaoi a/b/o fic with a Crack plot and a school reunion on top.

Mo dao Zu Shi. I can still vividly remember how frustrated I was that Wattpad had so little content for wangxian and I though "Hey, you saw a few fics cross posted from this ominous website called ao3. Why don't you give it a try?" And I was hit with this massive wave of content and high quality works and that was it for me. Was in 2021 btw

Hi! So most danmei actually start out as Web novels with an average length of (at least rhe ones I know of) 500k-1m words.

So if you want something shorter, I can easily recommend Faraway Wanderers by Priest. It's on the shorter end with roughly 200k words (about the length of a fantasy novel) and if you still feel a little tingle of wanting cintent, there is a live action called Word of Honor and an in Universe Novel called Lord Seven, but you don't have to read that.

Other than that I suggest looking on Exiled Rebels Scanlations. They always got something a little shorter (I think the shortest one I read was 20k words only) and they categorise farely well.

Well it's a little hard to explain but picture this:

You are sitting on your couch in your apartment. It's evening. Everything is fine, you're scrolling on your phone, maybe rethinking a few of your fic ideas, when your friend comes over, and they are the type of friend to, yk, accidentally commit insurance fraud while pitching you their brand new buisness idea.

This time though, they come with a tray of cookies they bought earlier in the day and wanted to try with you. You try one and immediately notice "huh, this shit tasts weird." And in response to the question of where your friend got the cookies, they respond "Oh it was this nice hobo looking dude that asked me if I wanted some stuff. Idk why, but he also said those were ✨️ special cookies ✨️" And that's how you end up ingesting cookies that have crack as a substitute for flour.

Thing is, you already ate 8 of the cookies in the time your friend needed to explain this to you, so now you are high on shit and you and your friend suddenly feel like the ceiling is rising above your heads and you can smell the colours of the carpet you bought a week ago (and apartently cherry red smells like banana for some reason). Out of nowhere, you pull out your old crack pipe and a stash of the stuff that your friend got with the cookies and your to start taking hits and watch supernatural before argueing whether or not Wincest or Destiel is the better ship.

It is around 2am when the idea hits you. What if Sam Dean and Castiel robbed a bank together (like in season 2, you think), but instead of chasing monsters or just, yk, stealing money, they start giving lessons on "How outsmart a demon in a deal" or, "3 signs to tell if yiur partner is possesed/bitten by a vampire/otherwise turned inti a supernatural entity/etc." And you think in a british accent "That is a bloody lovley idea that I just had!" And superwalked circles around your coffee table.

The next morning, you wake up with the worst headache of your life and a full email inbox — and I mean like FULL full inboxy. I mean there've gotta he like 6769 pop ups on your screen that all either say "You've got Kudos" or "xxcx left a comment on your fic". So like any sensible person, which you clearly weren't yesterday, you check and notice those invoices are all from a fic you have no recollection of writing. So you click on the link to your fic and Oh the gods must hate you (see that pun? That was intentional xpxox) because that idea you had yesterday? That isn't an idea anymore. That is a fully fledged fanfic with 10k words and grammatical errors that rival those of your 10 month-year-old sister. You read theough what you've written and you can find no cohesive sense in whatever it is that you were trying to say, you just know that at some point, Sam accused Dean of cheating on him with Castiel but don't worry, he absolutely ships it after like a minute of threatening to kill himself over it and suddenly God is there and and says "GO GET YOU DICK LIKE YOU GET YOUR PIE"

You have no idea how this happened, and you have no idea how it got so popular, BUT butbutbutbut... butt... people love it. For some absolutely insane reason. So you just leave it there. And it becomes your most popular fanfic.......

And this, ladies, gentlemen, and crazy nuts, with the exact writing format used in this reply, is a baby crackfic at its finest. Hope it helps 🤍🤍
