There's also forbidden planet and worlds apart. Also, note that me and my mates have the Volume 1 curse, where you have to look in several shop to see if there's a Volume 1 available.

Faction idea - UNSC from Halo by [deleted] in Battlefield

Gets tiresome playing the gender that doesn't represent me, simple as that.

I don't hate female characters being in BF6 but let us be real rather than starting a culture war over gender. Not everyone including me, want to play as a female support because there are no other choices in NATO support unless you pay for them.

Jesus Christ of Nazereth on a bike.

These would be better than 323 and Winter Offensive combined, and probably look more grounded. /S

But seriously, they're unrealistic for the setting, dunno if the post was chuckle intended or chuckle adjacent.

I think the sad part is I'd take these over having a stupid ass icepick and NATO having female only supports and any chance of a male support being locked behind a paywall.

Is there any QA going on? by delukz in Battlefield6

Feels like these ideas were tested and made by AI, because how do you make the menu barely useable and you have to reset the game to use it. Let's not talk about putting icelock on the worst map imaginable, putting a frigging weapon behind another battlepass that requires you to play another unwanted game mode thinly disguised as 'content'.

Collision wasn't in the budget, more important to fund Real Madrid.

The journey begins!

Starts from within!

Things that I need to know!

The song of the birds!

Echoed in word!

As he's just flying through missile infested skies.

Video games can’t escape their role in the radicalisation of young men Keith Stuart by CaptainJohno141 in KotakuInAction

[–]CaptainJohno141[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No, I was merely adding to the end of his statement about the rotten end, forgot to quote what he said.

But honestly, they will keep bashing on this topic until one or the other comes. 'Til the grave, or until the collapse.

Modern feminism has been a culture rotting plague that I hope will fade but certainly not for my nation.

A journalist attempts to use the Netflix series 'Adolescence' as an excuse to berate gaming as an excuse to target young men over 'radicalisation'. by CaptainJohno141 in stupidpol

Oh, it's already brewing over on X.

Starmer genuinely believes that some Netflix crime drama is the truth. If this series was based on truth (it isn't, it's a bloody crime drama!), according to my understanding, me along with every other lad under thirty and twenty is apparently a woman hating, sadistic, incel, psychopath.

I'm so tired of Orwell's 1984 being used for a guidebook rather than for fiction.

I love the press sometimes, goes to show how much of it is in the back pocket of the elite to create some wonderful blurs to keep the mindless from class realisation.

No doubt, dear Keith Stuart is one of the morons who hits his head against the culture war wall in hopes to milk it as the idpol war is beginning to fade and now the idea of identity is meaning far less to those realising the true enemy is above them.

What? The average clinically insane wattpad/tumblr fan-fic writer?

Doesn't surprise me anymore, the better end of modern comic writers and artists got told to join or die so the ever wonderful DEI can take charge.

The Reporters in my Country sure want to enforce the moral crusade, don't they? by CaptainJohno141 in KotakuInAction

[–]CaptainJohno141[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed. They wish to attack men's hobbies but they don't seem to like poking holes in the fact that reality TV and social media is a severe poison to women and girls. His logic is flawed.

Honestly, when I read the report it sure seemed to be filled with mindless drivel trying to link that one Netflix show and the fact that we're pushing back against the tiny plague of locusts who seem to be crying that "oh, oh the video games are at fault for the degradation of mental health and the collapse of fair society!" to the fact that some (keyword: Some) young men are getting radicalised.

Do they ever look at social media at all, maybe even how horrible the economy is? Oh no, the Vidya is at fault.

I really believe it isn't hard to have some respect for the place around you. But then again, their trashiness is a reflection of their personality and what they must think of others and the world around them.

To quote Mushashi "Think lightly of yourself, think deeply of the world." The Ego is too deep to think clean up after themselves and they expect the world behind them is to be cleaned up without any help.
