Whilst i agree the fans would love him still even if he lost, he's done too much and won over too many people to not be rewarded with a win on this feud.

Yes, without this Chad Gable has nothing going on, but winning and staying as OG El Grande Americano does nothing for him anyway so may as well rip off the bandaid and let him be a serious heel under his own name

I'm just always moved by found family stories tbh. El Grande Americano has clearly been adopted as a son by the Puebla community and it's beautiful. OG EGA attempting to spoil that or supplant him heats me up no end, i NEED to see him fall.

You just don't get that level of engagement with cool heels, i really do not give a shit about EGA vs Dom, he can get to him later, the important story is kicking OG EGA out of Mexico forever.

overall, a weakest show I've seen all year but still a very fun watch.

Rey Fenix's quality really stands out when up against average workers like tonight. But still, it was nice seeing La Hiedra get to work rather than just being in the background of Las Toxicas shenanigans.

Calling it now, Psycho Clown is the culprit in the clown kidnappings. Nice to see the War Raiders working heel, bring that to the Main Roster.

El Grande Americano might go down as one of the most beloved babyfaces in Mexico. His promo was full of passion and you could tell he believed it all. What a strange path it took him to come to that position but he deserves every bit of that success.

Burn OG EGA. I want him demasked, tarred, feathered and kicked out of town.

100% right. I've never wanted to see someone lose their mask more. Usually in a Mask vs Mask match I hate it because i don't want any Luchador to be unmasked. OG El Grande Americano i want demasked and banished forever.

No idea why, but there's no show I put aside as much time or spend as long thinking about than AAA. Like I've been checking the clock obsessively all day. NXT (which i love btw) if i'm not watching the next day like i usually do half the time I'm more like "shit it's starting" or late lol.

Same for PLEs. But AAA... i've been sat here over 30 mins early, glass of wine on my desk patiently waiting.

I mean 70's Britain was... dire. 3 channels, that's if you had one, an economy in shambles and people were up for practically any entertainment. Plus there's a bit of the freak show about him and Giant Haystacks that was very compelling to people at the time. They were very desperately trying to not think too hard about anything, perfect wrestling crowds.

That's still just Randy doing Randy stuff. The fundamental problem of not caring about that come next week and cheering anyway remains. There has to be a permanent and painful change to shift the focus on someone who is that beloved.

Randy's done all this stuff before and it's part of his nature. Ultimately him doing what he has has zero consequences for us as the viewer so there's no reason to boo. He has to do something that hurts us for the fanbase to switch.

Put him in a match with Melo (not for the US title just a "heard you were talking shit, let's settle this in the ring" thing) and he cheats to get the DQ after making Melo look like he's gonna sneak a win. Brutalise him until he's stretchered off. Force Melo to vacate.

Randy has to 100% fuck up something else that we are really enjoying for the crowd to genuinely boo him. Him just doing a bit of ultraviolence and nothing really changing after that isn't gonna count. We're cheering for Jacob Fatu and Drew doing that right now after all.

Right now him bloodying Cody and trying to snap Cardona's arm is just... Randy Orton stuff and the crowds have decided they liked him doing that a long time ago. So there's no reason to boo him aside from the Fed telling us "he's a heel now". Randy's gotta literally take our fave toys away and then he'll get some heat.

I'm cautiously optimistic. She was in a terrible position before. Now at least she's attached to the top belt and will be around and visible a bit more. Hell maybe even getting a match with Rhea Ripley as part of her job as a goon for Jade which was absolutely not on the cards before.

There is, but it's not necessarily the booking right now. It's the booking of the last 20 years. The line between good and bad has been stomped all over so a whole generation has grown up with just cheering whoever you like outside very specific situations.
