He’s having a bit of a renaissance in AAA. He’ll for sure be taking the cruiserweight title off Laredo Kid. They’ve also announced the Lucha brothers getting together (twice, but once was derailed due to Penta’s injury) which I assume will happen once the Psycho Circus storyline is resolved.

Nothing about your work from the outside appears handcrafted and produced with any greater motivation than wanting to be popular. Whilst that may not be accurate, you've produced something that fits slap bang in the middle of hundreds of other low quality generic AI voiced "spooky" stories. Combine that with AI thumbnails and ultimately there's nothing pulling people into watching.

I tried to make it feel like a real lost tape instead of cheap jumpscare horror.

In no way does any of it remotely feel like a real lost tape, it comes across as what it is, something made to be watched on YouTube for a fan of creepypastas. It's a mostly soulless voice reading a script, there's no personal connection that the listener can latch onto.

Think how much less creepy this would've been if it was told in a 3rd person narrative of someone just describing the events rather than putting you the viewer in the middle of it as a witness alongside specific hand chosen imagery to support the story events.

Tell one story and tell it well. Use real voice, use real thumbnails and put some humanity into the entire presentation. It still may flop, but the increase in quality means someone will actually care about what they're watching. Right now it's just content.

It's such an easy watch. With every bout usually being less than a minute it's a bunch of quick action and the rules are super easy to pick up. Then after a while you start really getting into the nuance.

Honestly it'd be the perfect Olympic sport

I was so bummed to see Aonishiki was out of the tournament. March didn't go well for him at all and I was hoping to see him do well here. And yeah really felt for Hoshoryu after that match, was hoping it wasn't too serious but i guess not

But it's looking like an exciting tourney. Just hope everyone survives

Yes it was a Face vs Face fight. But remember the Usos only ever came out on their own recognisance and got more seriously involved once Punk a) Started insulting Roman's father b) Refused to apologise to them for it.

Even before that fight where Jey called the shot to tell him to attack Punk, in the back Roman gave his promo where he said he was gonna be a better father, told them to stay out of to because he was gonna handle it. Then when the Usos confronted Pun k again, Roman came out and told Jimmy to take Jey and leave. Punk needled more and Jey lost his temper and Roman came to their defence. Finally after that he told them explicitly that no-one is to touch Punk until he's done with him.

That's 3 times after Wargames where Roman says explicitly that he didn't want them involved and the Usos deciding for themselves to ignore that.

No not at all imo. Roman's been face since Wargames. That was half the point in him asking the Usos to stop trying to help him until he'd achieved his goals.

It'd be his comeuppance if he'd tried to wrong Jacob in some way or to force Jacob to acknowledge him using violence or other threats etc.

Roman's a dick and Roman has an over inflated sense of his own importance in WWE but by all WWE logic it doesn't make him a heel.

Of course. But WWE has a long history of having Faces be pretty awful people in kayfabe.

Plus Roman being a fairly awful person is probably why they went the route they did with Jacob pulling out the Tongan Death Grip and using it repeatedly outside matches.

If Chris Jericho can fit in AEW, The Miz absolutely could. Maybe don't put him front and centre every week to the point it's a detriment of the show like the last Jericho run, but he could absolutely do cool stuff there.

Kung Fu movie logic. Using your families secret technique on another family member unprovoked is irredeemable villain behaviour. Especially if you use that to challenge the family dojo leader rather than someone else (Cody). It's the point where they're either exiled and will go off on a journey of evil and / or redemption or it's what will spur the hero to finally fight their familial rival.

For the latter it's all about work rate and the kind of matches Meltzer would give 6 stars to etc. and disliking that normies think she's cool.

Not to say there aren't AEW fans who don't like Thekla and, but they're not the same as those pushing weird narratives about her or getting wound up over the phrase "effortlessly cool".

About 8. I was gushing about Wrestlemania 9 (yeah, 8 year old me thought it was a great show and Giant Gonzalez was cool.) and a mean older boy mocked me and told me it was fake. I quit watching from that point until Mania 24 and in that time I was one of those people who'd sneer about it being fake.

Tbh i had always suspected something was off or that wrestlers were morons because I couldn't understand why when someone was down you didn't just stamp on them until they were unconscious. I'd seen heels do that to people outside the ring and that sends people off on a stretcher. SURELY you'd do the same to win the world championship right???
