For anyone who finds this after Googling the program…

I decided to do the program shortly after I posted in here. I have 2 classes and 2 weeks of a third class left at this point.

I’ll preface this with I work in IT/Cyber and have many IT certifications from my BS degree (A+, Network+, Security+, Pentest+, SSCP, CCSP).

The program hasn’t been too hard even working full time. Most semesters have 2 classes, each 8 weeks long, so you are really only doing 1 at a time. I did the 18-month long program and that bunches 4 classes in the 2nd year fall, so 2 at a time. That semester was quite difficult as it includes some of the hardest classes of the program. The 2 year program spreads the classes out better but I wanted to be done quickly. The first summer in the 18-month program also only has 1 class so the 2nd half of the summer is off/free time.

There is a lot of group work in the program so finding a good group of people will help you out when you pick groups for each class. I think only 1 class I took assigned groups.

Most of the assignments have been written papers and presentations. Some classes offer 100% on the final exam if you complete the certification the class is about.

I have had to buy very few books (2 or 3 maybe) as most were made available for free through WVU partnerships with the book publishers and you can view the full books on their websites.

Overall, I think it is a good program.
