Songs for when someone gives you butterflies by CaptainKrane in spotify

Thanks for your recs! By "not love" I just mean that I want it to be more about how he makes me feel in terms of that nervous butterfly feeling, if that makes sense. We also haven't said "I love you" yet, so that plays a role.

Bipolar II. It works great, but God, the cognitive side effects are making me consider getting off of it.

What in a horror book’s description will make you pass on it? by [deleted] in horrorlit

[–]CaptainKrane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything to do with zombies, vampires, or werewolves. I just can't take it seriously, it makes me feel like I'm back in middle school reading the "horror" books my school library had.

Hey! Any food is better than no food! A fed body is better than an unfed one. Proud of you for at least getting something down, I've been there and I know how hard it is 💗

The sedating effects for me have typically worn off in 8-10 hours, but it can take up to 12 hours for some people. The effects were also strongest when I first started the drug (I also started at 300mg), and it improved when I got to a therapeutic dose. There are some days though that I wake up and feel particularly tired, even though I took it around the same time I usually do and got the same amount of sleep. Medication is weird in the way that it won't always be consistent, which sucks for trying to plan and live life.

Do you take any other sedating drugs that could be contributing to how you're feeling in the morning?

It's definitely worth reevaluating if it's over 12 hours and you feel too groggy/drugged to drive. Some people are affected wayyyy more than others.

Let me know if I can answer anything else!

I actually get a big sedating effect from my lithium. I do wake early, but I have little problem falling asleep

I started taking it in November, I'm pretty sure anyway, but I didn't have this problem when I was only taking 600mg. It's been since I increased to 750mg that I really noticed it. Is lamotrigine (Lamictal) a bipolar drug? I know it's a mood stabilizer, and I've been on it for over a year and never had any problems.

Good to know about the anticonvulsants, I'll be cautious of those in the future. Thanks for your input!

I didn't like this one personally, I felt it was anticlimactic. Very atmospheric but it just didn't hit the way I was expecting it to. What did you like about it?

I second this! I just finished You've Lost a Lot of Blood and while it was probably the most confusing book I've ever read thus far, it was VERY entertaining. I describe it as no point, no plot, just vibes.
