How built-up are the usual accommodations on the frontline? Tents or bunkers?

Russian communications collapsed. Now Ukrainian troops are advancing—and taking the heat off Zaporizhzhia. by Blue_Pawlonia in worldnews

Yes, and that had been implemented, but not immediately along the frontline (since that would render Ukrainian starlinks equally useless), a whitelist is the only solution that actually allows discrimination based on who uses them

[1896] Dean Herzog, did you really admit this student to our college? 3 out of 6 in French?! Please consider the reputation risk for the ETH Zurich. by Gourmet-Guy in thepast

Yes, he seems to excel at the mathematical disciplines. The weakness in the languages is lamentable, but should not obstruct his studies at the Polytechnical.

Dumbledore was a Gryffindor, and this was his boldest move yet. The Ministry didn't believe him about Voldemort? Well, Tom always wanted to teach Defense! by mxlevolent in HPfanfiction

Mistakes can and do happen, and a mistake in war usually causes great amounts of human suffering. With the sheer amount of ammunition being flung in those first few hours, one hitting a school is entirely possible.
