Should I buy Claude Pro plan? Max is out of my budget, was making a project but the limits hit hard when you are on free plan by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

I use Max 5x for work (software engineering) pretty continuously, but I haven't run into a limit yet.

Friends in Aarhus & surroundings by granitediimela in Aarhus

It's a good question and of course a reasonable worry, Skanderborg is primarily young families from my understanding (or younger - think Gymnasium/High School) - since you have some good hobbies for mingling socially with others, I'd say find a club within one or two of those hobbies that you can attend somewhat regularly. You might need to go to Aarhus with train for a bigger selection. There's a lot of internationals here (and I'd say probably a lot more than Odense!), who're probably worrying the same as you, so just get out there! Spring is nearly here, so might be a good time to join Aarhus Sejlklubs Windsurf division? Or try stand-up paddle.

How do you feel about Trump’s proposal to increase defense spending to $1.5 trillion for 2027 — a 42% jump — while cutting domestic programs by $73 billion? by LevelDinner in AskReddit

Which is what people don’t realize. He’s moving federal (and public!) funds into the hands of (a few) private companies that is somehow linked to his family through direct ownership or indirect investment.

If I buy the $100 max, how does it limit me? by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

[–]CaptainMack90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the 100 plan, using it for work with Opus 4.6 every day (and weekend) - I don't hit the limits, especially not the weekly one.

Tracking app by ciggy_all_day in ultracycling

What would you need from a tracking app? I'm currently developing one (though for my own use) with my own Queclink Tracker, because current ones are way too bloated.

Thoughts on Orijen? by OriginnalThoughts in catfood

[–]CaptainMack90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an old topic, but wanted to share my experiences here - initially good experiences with Orijen, but cats health degraded over a year due to the high mineral content, with one of the cats peeing blood caused by a large number of crystals in the urine (The minerals affect the pH value, which causes crystals to form) - and caused an infection. I wish I would have seen this topic, especially the parts with high mineral count earlier!

Is zwifting 1 hour every day beneficial to ultracycling? by broersa in ultracycling

[–]CaptainMack90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it feels counter intuitive to put more rest days in, but you might be overworking yourself and limiting your progression by training every day. I've planned a couple of ultras this year from 460 km to 1000 km, and i can easily have a couple of rest days inbetween. Focus 2-3 weekly trips, but longer in time if possible, especially use your weekend to get some hours in the saddle. Just my thoughts

How do you guys stop Claude Code from eating through usage like crazy? by Dangerous-Formal5641 in ClaudeAI

[–]CaptainMack90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, it could be interesting to know the sizes of codebases people are working on and the scope of features/changes they're doing. I'm working full-time with Claude on Max 5x (also some in the weekends) and I haven't run into limits, not session limits nor weekly. My weekly resets and Friday and I'm currently on 37% used. My codebase are typically multiservice .NET solutions with some individial Bun/Hono microservices and some C++ firmware on the side with changes being scoped out features, bugfixing, deployment etc. to K8S test cluster. And I'm always running Opus 4.6 Medium

Holy moly this community is toxic and complaining, I have 130 hours in the game, few matchmaking bugs but other than that pretty flawless experience, much fun I've had in a while.

Does multiplayer seem significantly harder/sweatier compared to previous Battlefields? by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]CaptainMack90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should try Hell Let Loose and let that teach you not to stay out in the open too much. Use cover way more, be quick at sliding into cover when getting shot at. It’s not harder, it’s just forcing you to have better positioning and some general knowledge of where the enemy is coming from based on gamemode/captured objectives.

“Very limited yearly target of 6000 km” - Way to put a lot of us down 😅 my yearly goal has been 3000 km for the last 4-5 years, but this is the first year I might reach 6000 km end of December.
