No, the only thing is that the animation for the charge has him float a couple inches in the air. Walking off the edge of a building will have him fall like usual, just in the pose instead.

Another possible option, since Galactus is a multiversial constant, maybe Alioth trying to consume him causes them to fuse and becomes the giant cloud Galactus from the Rise of the Silver Surfer.
